I clear the cutoff for iNMATs of Testfunda but I only clear sectional cutoff for Quant section. I lack around 5 marks in Verbal and 10 in LR. Is NMAT LR equivalent to that of Testfunda or simpler than it? Those who appeared for NMAT 2015 please reply
Gave NMAT on 30th October, 9-11 Slot (Jaipur)
Order of attempt - LR, QA and VA
Scale 1-10 (10-Very Hard, 1- Very Easy)
LR - Over all was easy to go through, the main point to consider was not waste time i questions that didn't strike at the first go. Had 3-4 Input Output questions which looked crazy, 2-3 Family Tree which would have taken time. All the other questions didn't take a huge amount of time. Wasn't lengthy at all. Can easily 'Attempt' around 30 before going into the guessing phase. (5/10)
QA - Only 1 Question from numbers, Questions require quick mental calculation or are a huge waste of time. DI aren't lengthy if your approximations are good. Quick Percentage calculation skills is a major bonus. Unlike a lot of others, could go through 3/5 DI sets with another one partially attempted. Only one DI was used for Guessing. Can easily 'attempt' 38 in given time before going into guessing spree. (7/10)
VA - I expected it to be a cakewalk but Synonyms and Antonyms took the thunder away. Some words were out of the world. Passages were around 800-1000 words each (3 of them) and needed Critical reasoning. Fill in the blanks and passage completion was easy. 2 of the 3 para jumbles can confuse. All 32 can be attempted inside 20 minutes leaving 2 minutes for revision. (8/10)
AIMNMAT Percentiles - 70%tile in 1st and 96%tile in 2nd
VA Percentile - 98%ile in 1st and 100%ile in Second

Hey! Can anyone tell me what does normalization of score mean? Does it mean adjusting your score according to the difficulty level of the paper, or, according to the way everyone has performed in that particular test?
Hi All, gave my Nmat today morning 9 am. Given the discussions about tough QA, mine was a pleasant surprise! There were 30-35 easily doable questions.. Some DI-s were exhausting. On the contrary, i found the LR and Verbal to be tougher.
Thinking about giving one more time, but i dont thnk i will be able to find slots after i can assess today's actual score, which probably wud be out in december right?

Can any previous year(s) NMAT taker tell whether the NMAT scores that are usually revealed from time to time are the final normalized scores or just the raw score (a multiple of 3) which will be normalized again during the final result?
I wrote nmat on 30th Oct. Is it possible to take a second attempt after the result for the first attempt is revealed? Is that feasible?

We all know that placement reports of b-schools show inflated average packages. But how much do you think is NMIMS inflating it? Can anyone who has his/her friends studying there throw some light on this.. And also how much percent of the batch actually gets placed?
Whats the range of each window especially window 3 and window 4?
