Why PGDM? “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”- Nelson Mandela
A Postgraduate diploma in management(PGDM) is the icing on the cake because it is considered eligible for any corporate career capacity. It is a professional two-year business management curriculum that focuses on industry needs and helps management aspirants build critical hard and soft skills to become industry-ready managers. Only universities that are controlled by the University Grants Commission (UGC) are allowed to issue degrees, which is why this is a Diploma program rather than a degree.
Private business schools, as well as autonomous business schools, that are largely regulated by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), can give diplomas rather than degrees.
Is it comparable to an MBA? Absolutely!
We can safely assert that [PGDM diploma program bring value beyond the traditional MBA curriculum, which is exactly what high-demand recruiters seek and it is, therefore, so in trend these days.

Hey Parin!
Hope you are fine and doing well.
Don’t worry, most of the students usually have this doubt. First of all, I want to make you very clear about the difference between the two courses.
MBA (Masters in Business Administration) is a 2 years degree course offered by GNIOT. This is a university affiliated course and is oriented towards theoretical knowledge in the field of management while PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a 2 years full-time diploma course offered by GNIOT Institute of Management Studies. PGDM covers more of the practical aspects of the management course instead of just focusing on the theoretical aspect. This course provides more knowledge about how the industries work and teaches how to deal with the real-life business challenges. Also, PGDM is more flexible as compared to MBA and updates the syllabus as per the need of the hour.
For more information, you can visit to our college’s official website provided below:-
