Find the least number of ways of choosing three different numbers from 1 to 10 so that all choices have the same sum.
ABC is an equilateral triangle whose sides are of length 1cm. If we select 5 points inside the triangle , is it true that atleast two of these points are such that the distance between them is less than 1/2 cm. how or why??

42??? wats the oa
@kingsleyx kk its as good as choosing three nos or combination of three nos..
eg
1,2,3 r the three nos which will give the same sum & can be chosen randomly in 6 ways
imo..sol hai kya

yes its true.
Can't think of a proof but you should be able to visualize it

connect the midpoints and place the points.

bhai did not understand a1.a3 = 26
after that how did you decide a3 =13??
@soumitrabengeri : bhai ye bookmark kaise karna?? you have book marked the link or the post by angad sir?? there was a feature to make a particular post favorites or something like that. but unable to find in this new version 😞

3:5

angle bisector theorem..angle bisector divides the opposite sides in the same ratio of the sides containing the angle
For CWG taxis are brought into service.Half way going during the opening Ceremony ,10 taxis broke down.Hence each taxi had to carry one more person to equalize the load. At the time of returning from opening Ceremony 15 more taxis were not working,hence each taxi has to carry 3 more people than what they started out in the morning.. Find the number of people who attended CWG ceremony?
XM = (X-10 ) (M+1) = (X-25) (M+3)
solving first 2 and last 2
then we will get X = 100 and M = 9
so total = 900

Let BD=X so DC=SQRT10 - X
Angle bisector theorem:
AC/AB=CD/DB
5/3=sqrt(10)-x / x
x=BD=3sqrt10/8
DC=5sqrt10/8
BD:DC=3:5

A product can be produced either on machine A or B. It takes 3 hrs to set up A and then 15 min to produce each unit. Machine B takes 4 hrs to set up and then it produce each unit in only 12 min. A total of 60 units have to be produced .If both the machine can be used and the job has to be done in minimum possible time, how many units should be produced by A?,
29,32,28,31..
P.S. plz post soln
