Converted...A fresher...How good it will be for me?
10/12/graduate -83.82%/78.50%/7.33 cgpa. A fresher and i don't have any other colleges at present and want to do operations. So will i face problem during placement.
WL 84 general category. What are my chances of converting.Also will it be a good decision to join siom if i convert.
my profile- 10/12/grad(mech engineer) - 78/62/70. 7 months of work ex in mfg sector.
Profile:10/12/B.tech-87/78/54 No gaps. Have decent extra curriculars achievements.
I will be having 23 months of work ex at the time of joining.Will my graduation marks create issues at the time of placements? Would I be allowed to sit for most of the companies that visit the campus? Seniors plz advise.
10th- 94
12th- 90
Mech engg. graduate with 70.12%
work ex- 2.5 years in Bharat forge ltd, Pune (manufacturing firm) in operations (on lean manufacturing tools like VSM, Work standardization)
Decent extracurricular activities (one patent, couple of awards at workplace, won couple of national level events)
Will SIOM be good option for my me/my profile?
P.S.- i dont wanna land in manufacturing firm after my mba.. open to Consulting/E-comm/IT

I have been waitlisted wl74. Being optimistic, if I am able to clear the list. I would like to transfer the admission fees money to siom side from scit (I have cleared). What will be the procedure and will there be any deductions?

Now as i wrote the previous message all those admcoms guys would be saying "dont believe him, he is negative, ask us we will tell you". Well i am not surprised. Well a friend of mine just said here @sud_arjun that this happens every year on SIOM thread that some1 says something is fishy. I wonder why that is , i havent seen these messages on other colleges thread.
See guys i know it must be confusing and frustrating for you all after i said all thosee facts but you had to know the truth either now or after joining the college.
DON'T BELIEVE ME I MIGHT ME SOME FREAK BAD MOUTHING THE COLLEGE. So please do research , talk to the aluminis on LinkedIN OTHER THAN THESE ADCOM guys. There work is to tell you the things so you join the college, thats what committe is all about. You all are above 23 in age so i think you guys are mature enough the find the correct info about the college.
Now @sagarcat talked fews hrs before with me on pagalguy and not once he said that what i wrote was wrong when i asked m
him the same. See its contradicting.
Ok if the college is so prestigious then why is its ranking and cutoff so low when its placement reports are as par with SIBM B. Now these guys would say its a specialised course college thats y ..blah blah blah. To that NITIE, IFMR, IIFT, IRMA and many more are all known for their own specific course not general then why are their cutoff and ranking so high.
You guys are aiming to be Managers in OPeration so evaluate all pros and cons, do research and then take a informed decision, You still have 15 days.

I have converted. How much fees am i supposed to pay to secure my admission. And in case i change my mind how much will i be refunded as i have a call from TISS and my interview is on 20th.
OK Guys I am pretty much sure that the adcom guys would have told you by now that whatever is being informed to you guys other than what is told by them is totally rubbish ..blah blah blah.
So guys as a senior to all the aspirants and also to these adcom guys unfortunately i thought this would be my duty to tell you guys the actual scenario of the college.
See the thing is that the people in placement commitee and admission committe wont tell anything not because they dont want to but because they are bound by some non disclosure shit. They also well know that the placements are becoming worse day by day in SIOM and nothing sis being done to rectify the same.
Anywho this would be most probably my last public post as i know the logical and the mature guys would have understood the scenario.

Can someone please tell me, what to fill in nearest police station, registration no, how many students in ur class, Professional college or general college fields in anti-ragging affidavit ? please seniors help me.. I want to complete all these details as soon as possible.
Had a talk with 1 converted guy today and things he told me made me realise how low these adcom guys could go just to get admissions. I mean its wrong to play with the future of some serious applicants. You guys have serious talent of telling so much lies in a row. I dont know it could be Record; please contact Limca book of records management.

How much movement can we expect in first waiting list? i.e, on 30 march? M nervous coz in sibm p list move only by 5 in first list.
