I received call from Singapore this year, for december intake. But was bit confuse regarding placement in india.
after recuritment,i heard from students its difficult to get to india with gud salary, for ROI u have to be in dubai........n dubai is kind of place, you dont tend to live for longtime.
Also sp is first time conducting dec intake, dont u thk main requirments of company occurs from feb to june..........how will placements for dec intake go!!!!!!!!!
Can you please provide the following information ?
1 ) Approx Percentage of students from a batch who are placed in India, along with the mean salary, highest and lowest salary, and percentage-wise break-up of jobs in different sectors.
2 ) the above for students placed abroad, along with information regarding how many students were placed in which country.
the SP Jain website has information about the above in a combined manner ( Indian + Foreign placements ). I would appreciate if you could kindly give us information about the placements as mentioned in (1) and (2).
Thanks for taking time off frm ur schedule to answer our queries. I would like to know that the avg salary as mentioned in the SP Jain site is around 8-9L p.a INR. Is this the avg of indian and foreign salaries combined. If this is the case, then don't you think that the salary being offered in Dubai (or S'pre) is below the avg salary that MBA's earn there!
Dear Rutty, Thank you for spending ur prestigious time with this issue. I live in Dubai, I have 2 yrs. of experience and i want to take the june 2007 intake. Could you be more brief about the faculties, placements and the average salary paid to individual dept. I am looking for Marketing or IT Management. If i wish to be placed in India after my graduation, Are the Indian companies coming to Dubai or S'pore campus? if yes, what all companies recruit? Could you plz be more accurate on how many percentage of students get recruited on campus? Thats all for now Mr. Rutty....Looking forward for your prompt reply. Thank you!
Myself Nikhil, i have done BMS(Bachelor in Management Studies) from SK SOmaiya College from 2005 batch. I have an 18mnths experience in recruitments and thinking of making my career in HR. i want to know would this global MBA help me making my career in HR as a specialisation.
I am srinivas and having 5 yrs of Exp . I want to know do you have lateral placements for Experience guys with higher salary levels as compared to Freshers or0- 2 yrs exp people .
Dear Ruchita, Students have gotten placed in India as well at good positions with good pay packages. The average salaries that you might have seen on our website are for students who have returned to India or stayed back in Dubai. Frankly, there is no "season" as such when companies require employees, organisations need trained and skilled personnel all year round . Its just that they plan their recruitments around Feb- June as most B-schools in India complete their courses at that point in time. So you need not worry about getting placed if you join the December batch. Hope I have sorted your queries. Thanks

Dear Nikhil, Thank you for your message and interest in our GMBA programme. Just want to bring to your notice that we do NOT run a programme with a specialisation in HR. The closest that we can suggest would be Services Marketing and Management. I advise that you visit our website and take a close look at the specialisations we offer and decide if any would be of interest to you. Our website : S.P.Jain Center of Management, Dubai . Singapore

Dear Sahil, Thank you for your message. Yes, we do look at the overall profile of the student and take into account alot of factors like academics, work experience, entrance test score, extracurriculars, achievements etc. However I would like to bring to your attention that we expect students to have atleast a first class in theri academics. However taking into account the profile sbmitted by you I suggest that you may go ahead and send in your application for the June 2007 intake. You would be informed withing 30 days whether you have been shortlisted for evaluations. Admissions for our June 2007 intake have not yet commenced but they should commence around mid of December 2006. All the best with your application!

Sir i want to apply for june intake of spjain dubai .My profile is as follows:- currently i have 6 six months work ex in uk based mnc as software test engineer i have first divison with distinction in 10th and 12th. i am a pass out of thapar institute of engg and tech with second divison. i have participated in various extracurricular activities.
i applied for dec intake also but got rejected.I attended ur seminar in delhi where ppl from spjain said that for clearing spjain dubai admission stage one a candidate need cat/xat 85%ile(which was changed to 75%ile later) or gmat 600.
Can u suggest if i clear the above mentioned criteria ,what else i can add to my profile to cover up for second divison in grad and to receieve a call from spjain dubai for second stage. OR as i have second divison i will automatically be rejected when i will apply for june intake please clarify. Anuj Mittal
i am concerned about the 'first class' term that you mentioned. my engg aggregate is 57% and i have been working at as a techie from 16 months. very good extra curicullars and my 10th and 12th % is 82. could you please elaborate on how important are academics because ive heard that sp jain gives a lot of weightage to academics.

Hello,
I've got a percentile of 96.38 on CAT 2005,and a 70% + in all of my academics. Also,I have a lot of extra curricular prizes at college and school level. However,Am no sports affinicado.I am very skilled with computers, and currently work at HCL. Should I try applying?
I got an offer for Banking Management for DEC intake
But some of my seniors told me that there might be some placement issues as it is an Odd Batch.. They said that companies generally dont require MBA ppl all round the year as it incurrs a huge overhead in terms of salary ( unlike software engineers)
I would also like to know that would I be considered as a fresher in BM (as I've pursued my engg in IT n I'm working with Infosys, Pune for about 18months). Also, what kind of package can I expect if I perform well?
