It can take utpo even 30-35 days - I suggest you may pls check our website after about a week or so to check if your status has been updated

Hi,

I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee.
We usually prefer candidates with about 2-3 yrs work although we do consider freshers only if they are outstanding. DO u have atleast a first class in ALL yrs of graduation?

Just FYI - in my opinion you need not tkae the SPJAT as you already have a score that meets our requirements

Extra curricular-Very good, internationally published papers, presented papers at national and state level symposia,won prizes at several symposia and lead the college's students' section of Instrumentation Systems and Automation during graduation and well conversant with French.

I am keenly inclined towards investment banking. I applied to your GMBA program(Jun 07) intake but was put on the shortlist for a long time.

I reapplied to May 08 intake for the GMBA(IB). My status says Waitlist-Initial screening. I will be taking aptitude test.

I want to know how are my chances at SP Jain Dubai considering that you take freshers or candidates with less than 2/3 years of experience

Hi,

We do have tie ups with certain banks to assist u with loans- details of which can be found on our website underthe FAQ's section under visas and loans

most banks do not require collateral upto Rs 7.5 lakhs - however if you need a loan of a higher amount then you would hve to provide the security.

Since the expenses for the entire course of GMBA is too high as per Indian standards, is there any loan facility that SPJain Dubai/Singapore provides?

I have heard that SBI provides loan facility to SPJIMR students without any colateral/gaurantee.

Can SPJain Dubai/Singapore students also avail any such facility?

Hi,

We do not shortlist candidates who do not have a score - hence applications without a score will be considered incomplete until a score is received

I cannot comment on your chances of being shortlsited even if you receive a score which meets our cut off as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee

However we do expect candidates to have altleast a first class inALL years of their graduation

i screwed up CAT.
I am planning to write Aptitude test of SPJAIN.
my acads r as follows
X: 82%
X11: 63%
Engineering: 70.40%
work experience: 15 months(software engineer)
if suppose i get a 85%ile in spjain aptitude test,wat r my chances of getting a call?
Inconsistent performance in academics is my major concern.
Kindly help telling shall i apply for spjain aptitude test or not,as the exam costs 2000/- rs.
please help soon as the last date is 27th and i need to post the draft.

3. is the test computerised?
4. will there be any sectional cut offs?

Can you please clarify the foll:
1>Does CAT 06 scores are applicable for June 08 intake.
2>Are the scores are considered only to shortlist the candidates in the first round or do they play any role in the final selection of the candidate prior admission?
3>What is the average workexp of the candidates?

For the last admission process of jan intake, SP Jain Dubai & Singapore, was considering XAT scores. But i checked it now it doesnt mention anything about XAT. My XAT %ile is 95.28 and would like to apply on this score. Am i eligible for the same.

But this time around, it is not taking XAT score...
u can apply with CAT/GMAT score if possible
or give the SPJAT scheduled for February 2, 2008...

it may or may not be.. totally depends on the applications they receive and shortlist...
frankly speaking... don't expect to have another test n try to give this one only...
its much easier than CAT/XAT/GMAT...

Hi Shweta,

I have just scheduled for my evaluation on 10th Feb at 10:30 am. By mistake, I did not write my complete application no. (20124-IT) and got the appointment in the first attempt with the application no. 20124 only. After realizing my mistake , I again entered the same details with my correct and complete application no. and got an appointment again.

I have sent a reply to [email protected] quoting the mail containing the incorrect admit card I have received. I apologized for the mistake and requested them to please ignore the incorrect appointment.

Do I need to do something else or will it suffice? I have also received the correct admit card. Please reply . It has made me very anxious.

I have already applied for the GMBA program offered by you and wish to get through the May 2008 intake. I had appeared for CAT 2007 but got a bad score of 71%-ile. I would also be appearing for the Aptitude Test on the 2nd on Feb at Mumbai. Just wanted to know if my CAT score would prove to be a negative point in my applcation screening considering I am still to appear for the SP Jain Aptitude Test.

Also after I get the Aptitude score, will the best of the two or an average would be considered?

10th 81 %

B.E. 76% (above 70% in every semester)
university postion holder in 2 semesters

i was terribly ill during my 12th class ,,was hospitalised just some days before the borad exams.
i was an excellent student academically as well as in other activities in both school and college.i m quite sure of myself 2 preform good in the aptitude test.
i m worried about my profile...can i get a call??

Work Ex: 1 yr 8 months (Manufacturing sector )

Decent extra curriculars and achievements...

My application result states i have been kept on a wait list since i fall short in some of their admission criteria. but it does not mention waitlist no. or which are the criteria where i lag behind?? is it because i have applied for IB, but have no relevant work ex in finance domain? or could it be because of my pathetic CAT score?? should i take SPJAT?? if i get a good score, will it improve my chances?? also if u r put on a wait list, is it a subtle way of saying you are rejected ?? are there any chances of waitlist getting converted to call??

I have submitted the application form on the 21st Jan'08 for GMBA (PMM) May'08 intake. The site mentions that it takes around a month before the status is updated. Meanwhile I have registered for the SPJAT due 2nd Feb'08. Considering I clear the cut-offs, what next? Do the scores get sent to the institute directly so as to update my application form?

My details are as follows:

Work Exp: 13 months in a management position. Worked as Manager-Business Development for a start-up firm incubated under IIT Bombay. Considerable amount of marketing-planning exp especially in interaction with state nodal and government agencies.

Grad: B.E (Electronics and Telecom) 73.24% Distinction
XII- 90.17%
X- 86.26%

Always been involved in sports and cultural events from school through college to graduation. Been elected to several positions in various councils in graduation. Academically ranked high in class.

Now with reference to above profile and based on previous recruitments to the GMBA PMM program, How long before I get any communication from the institute informing about a possible evaluation?
