I am Krishna Chaitanya. My application No is 21440BM.

I Have applied for Banking Management and my Interview is on 09 Mar 2008.

Could any please tell me what kind of interview we will have?

In the mail which i got it was written that there will be GI/Essay Writing/PI.. Will all these conducted during the interview?

What kind of Essays are we supposed to write?

I applied for SPJIMR and I got a call from it and was disqualified in First round. Will it effect my getting through in SPJMC in any way?

Please help me with my queries...

Dear Mohit,

While we do not give out specific reasons as to why a candidate is waitlisted - it could be any of these factors - academics, work ex, extracurriculras, achievements etc.

Also, we do receive some outstanding applications for the IT stream and hence competition for places is very tough.

However this waitlist is reviewed from time to time by the Admissions Commitee as and when need be, and students found suitable are shortlisted. However there is no exact date as to when this would happen.

We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status.

Is it possible for anybody to tell me why I have not been shortlisted. Please do not misunderstand me. I am just trying to ascertain why SPJain did not shortlist me. Contructive feedback is the essence of improving oneself and thats what I am looking for.

If its graduation marks as suggested by an earlier post, then please bear in mind that I am a medical doctor and marks are not easy to come by.

As regards your not getting thru SPJIMR, Mumbai - it will not have any bearing on your candidature at SPJCM, Dubai-Singapore.

hi,

The waitlist is reviewed from time to time by the Admissions Commitee as and when need be and students found suitable are moved to the Evaluation stage.

I would request you to pls be a little patient as we havent yet closed for admissions. The max that you wouold have to wiat to know your exat status would be around first week of April.

I wish to apply to Sp Jain dubai Campus....But I am a little confused.....
Can you help me out....my profile goes like dis:

10th -83.8%
12th - 80.2%
Btech - 81%

1.5 years work ex with wipro as a software engg......
Average extra curriculur....

My Cat percentile is 91.3

Now I feel I have a Cat percentile is on a lower side....and would not get a call with this percentile.....So would it be advisable for me to appear for SP jain Aptitue test to increase my chances of getting a call from SP Jain Dubai.....Or at this CAT score it is still possible for me to get a call....

Please advise...

Also, in d mail u received it wud ve stated like the entire process wud take 6-7 hrs....i wonder y u ask here..........

i too ve few.....Can u plz answer my followin queries,

1) I heard that many ppl who got selected for Jan 08 intake have been postponed for May 08 intake......So, implies, the students who are selected for May 08 intake will in turn be deferred for Jan 09 intake.......

2) Have classes for Jan 08 intake started........?????

3) Also the total no of students as stated by u as 200-300 is for single intake or combination of 2 intakes.........

4) My humble request to ur coll administration is to display lowest salary for each specialization....bcoz dat wud be easier to depict the avg salary instead of merely showin the avg salary & highest salary....the reason is, 2 or 3 highest figures ll surely boost the avg salary dat might delude many aspirants.........

Also I came to know this course takes place only in DUbai and not in Singapore. Is that correct?

I have been given a cal for evaluation on 4 Mar '08 thru email.

Have been asked to submit demand draft of Re. 2500 latest by 7 Mar to your Bombay Liaison Office.

But i regret to state that it wont be possible for me by any means to deliver you the draft by 7.

However the option of Cash deposit was also stated in the application form.

Can this cash deposit be made on 10 itself (The day for my interview.) or if the payment can be made thru credit card.

I have already made arrangement to come to Mumbai for interview.

Pls help.

Hi,

1) We on our own accord do not defer any students admissions - if a student is unable to take up his/hewr offer in one intake it is they who request fora deferral. So it does not imply that the students who are selected for the May 08 intkae will be defered to the Jan 09 intake.

2) Yes ofcourse - they started in the first week of Jan 08 itself

Hi,

Firstly the info you have is wrong - just like all the other spec - HRM too will be conducted for 6months each in both the campuses - starting in Sing first and then moving to Dubai.

I wouold not have any statistics to give you reg placemtns for the HRM spec as this a new spec we have started with the Jan 08 batch.

However I would like to inform you that we introduce new streams and phase out older ones based on intense research , market trends, industry demands etc - hence we felt tht there was a great demand for professionals in the HR industry and so we decided to introduce this spec.

Many students had the same apprehensions like you when we strted our GLM programme in 06. The placement statistics of this stream are there for all to see.

We will not accept cash on the day of your evaluation.

You can send the DD by the 8th - it only takes a day to reach by courier.
