U took the Aptitude test of SP Jain.
What was it all about?

How was the difficulty level?

What were the sections and all?

Could anyone who has taken the aptitude test conducted by SP Jain tell me the difficulty level of the same? Also is the format the same as the CAT exam?

Hello Rutty Maam,
I am in the final year of my degree course and shall be appearing for my final exmas in April.
As my CAT score was only 79.25 percentile I am planning to give the aptitude test conducted by S P Jain.
I had submitted my application for S P Jain with my CAT score and have been waitlisted for the June intake.
Could you please tell me what does this really mean as regards my chances and if I should apply even for the December intake?

I have a friend who has a GMAT score of 560.
He has around 6 yrs of work ex .and good extra curriculars
he is a CS with NCFM certifications
Will he have to appear for the Sp jain Test . Is there any cut off for GMAT as well like CAT.
He is interested in investment banking profile .
What are his chances for selection?based on ur advice he will appear for GMAT if the score is not enough.

Hi Rutty,

I am currently working for an IT Major in India. I currently have around one and half years of IT work experience( software dev. and sustainence). I plan to appear for the Aptitude test for SPJain GMBA. I plan to pursue IT Management at the institute.

I wanted to know about the placement scenario for IT Management course at SP Jain. What was the average Pay Package for this branch in the previous batch ? Which Indian IT companies have come for placement to the campus and what job profiles have been offered to the students?

Coming from the IT Industry , I wanted to know about the advantages of this course to the Indian IT industry.

Hi,
You have been waitlisted most probably due the fact that you are not yet a graduate.
Our entry criteria clearly states that you must be a graduate at the time of application.
If your results would be out in June or later then i would suggest that you apply for the Dec 07 intake.
I cannot comment on whether the CAT score you have is alright with us or not. Only the Admissions committee would take a decision on that after reviewing your entire profile.

Hi,
His GMAT sore is a bot low. We look at scores of 650+. He may retake the GMAT or take our aptitude test.

Dear Rutty,
I have a final offer of admission. But i have to pay first installment within a week now.
If i am not able to get my loan approved in that period and my offer gets terminated, can i re-apply in the same intake again?

hi rutty i have appeared for the GD/PI selection of the gmba june intake.
but i didn' t get thru the process i need to know in which section i loose the marks i mean in the five rounds which were conducted can i know the marks
or else in which round i was short listed. waitin for ur reply.

Dear Rutty madam,

I have applied for the IT specialization.My application status says that i have been waitlisted.Is it due to the CAT/XAT scores.
My CAT and XAT scores are 81 and 85 percentile resp.

I have a decent profile with Distinction in 10th and 12th and first class in engg.
Also i have 1.5 years of IT experience in a reputed CMMI level 5 MNC.
What is it that i have fallen short of then?

What are my chances of moving from waitlist to evaluation and by when will this happen.
This is very important for me as i have a onsite engagement and i need to decide on that urgently.
