Qualification Details:
I am a BE in IT with a first class with distinction , 71%.
Class XII : 68 %
Class X : 78%
Work-X :
Currently working as a Functional Consultant in the SAP SD Domain.
Have worked with SAP Labs and currently working with Mind Tree consulting.
Total Exp : 38 months.
Achievements:
Microsoft certified and CISCO certified Professional.
Participated in Quizzing in School/col level.
Received the High performance award by SAP Labs India etc.
Also I wanted to the selection criteria for IB and IT. What r the chances for a non Finance guy to make it into IB specialization.

Your profile seems fine toapply however I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the deicion of the Admissions Commitee.

I got my call letter today.I will be putting up at Borivali.How far is it from the centre???
I have taken the slot at 1.00 PM to be on the safer side.
Can u pls suggest me what will act as work exp certificate?Will salary slip do?Or a formal letter stating that i m an employee of the company since....
bt these kinda letters r issued by the company for specific purpose n tat purpose is mentioned in the letter (like for getting passport/license/mobile conn etc). Will this letter do as i hav lost the appointment letter which i got 3.5 yrs bak.

But mam the low academic scores are just in the internal college exams, which cannot be seen as true grounds of comparisons.
my scores in centralised board and university exams are good and shows my competency.
sorry if i sound discourteous, i hope the admissions committee reconsiders my application.

Well your academic scores are not 60% in ALL the years - which is what we expect students to have.
That could be one of the possible reasons for your being waitlisted
However this waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions Commitee and students found suitable are shortlisted for the Evaluations.
I request you to pls wait until the end of this month to know your exact status.

Dear Himanshu,
From Borivili to Andheri should take you about 30 mins by train and another 15-20 mins from the station to our campus.
If you are travelling by another mode then pls keep a gap of 2 hrs - so I suggest you leave your place at 11am to reach in time for the 1pm slot.
We would need a letter from your co stating that you are an employee,. Yes the letter given for a spcific reason will do

Hi,
I do understand that the marks which are not above 60 are in the internal exams but we expect you to be consistent and achieve a first class even in those exams.
However I request you to be patient and wait until the waitlist is reviewed to know your exact status.

Company can issue employee certificate but it wont be possible to ask them to mention that this letter is issued for interview purpose.
I can get the letter issued for taking mobile connection/internet etc.

can u not just get a plain letter without stating a reason.
Do you havea copy of the original appointment letter? If yes you can produce a certified copy of the same - certified by your company or a notary or gazetted officer.

Another for IT MANAGEMENT -- My application number is 22799-IT. This I applied last week so status is not yet updated. Can you please tell me if not IB then is there any chance of getting to Evaluation level in IT MANAGEMENT.

I guess the utmost would be until 1st week April - not later than that.
Maybe your academics are not a first calss all through - that could be one fo the factors for your being waitlisted.

Firstly Im sure you must have read on our website that you CANNOT apply twice for 2 diff spec.
S.P.Jain Center of Management - Dubai . Singapore
A student needs to submit only one application and only for one specialization. In fact duplication of applications may lead to a students form/admission being disqualified
You cannot keep applying just in the hope that you will get a call for some spec or the other.
You should apply for the spec of your choice and interest,
Pls let mek now which spec you would wish to be considered for so that we may keep your one appln on our records.

Thats not the case........my academics are 1st class throughout. My experience being 17 months and I dont think there can be any criteria I dont meet.
Is it possible that my score is not updated in my appliction?.... as I had applied with my old score in January itself and got a new score(87.11) from the test taken on 1st March.

Well while viewing your application - I noticed that your 1st yr and 2 nd yr Engg scores are 57.6 and 54.4 respectively - are these not your scores?? PLs confirm if your appln no is 20229 SMM
And when we say first class ALL THROUGHOUT - it includes ALL years of graduation as well.

1) I appeared for evalutation stage on 9th of March. So when can I expect my result since one week has been over?
2) Also having work-ex of 21 months till date will cause any problem given the fact that I fared well in the interviews.
3) For the GLSCM specialization, are they expecting us to have more than 2 yrs or so work experience? Is there any other criteria being followed?
