Shweta Ma'am, pls help me.. i applied for spjcm.. IB spec.. and i got the WL status for the eval stage.. my profile:

X- 86%
XII - 79%
Grad (BCom) - 79%
CA (Inter - 2nd grp) - 51%
CFA (1st grp) - 66%
Worked for 11mnths in a Fin team
Completed 3 audits as an assisstant to a CA.. also done independent accounts work in a pvt ltd Co..

Could you please tell me ma'am what is lacking in my profile coz of which i got the WL status.. honestly Ma'am, do u think I can convert the WL to a shortlist GD-PI call??? Please let me know.. I am really worried and anxious..

Hi,
The results for the evaluations would be out by the end of this week.

WHile evaluationg a candidate we look at the quality of the work ex, domain expertise, skills acquired etc more than the amount of work ex.

There is no hard and fast rule that a candidate has to have 2 yrs of work ex for GLSCM or any other spec for that matter.

Hi Shweta,

1) I appeared for evalutation stage on 9th of March. So when can I expect my result since one week has been over?

2) Also having work-ex of 21 months till date will cause any problem given the fact that I fared well in the interviews.

3) For the GLSCM specialization, are they expecting us to have more than 2 yrs or so work experience? Is there any other criteria being followed?

Kindly plz answer my queries.

Hi,

You will have to be patient and wait until the waitlist is reviewed - the Admissions Commitee looks atthe overall profile of a candidiate and then takes afinal decision whtehr to shortlist him or not.

If you are outstanding in some other criteria then they may be willing to overlook the lack of academics

Hi,
We do not give out specific reasons as to why a candidate is waitlisted - it could be your academics, work ex, entrance test score, extra cirriculars, achievements any of these factors.

You owuld have to pls be patient as the waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be and students found suitable are shortlisted for the evaluations.

i got a mail from you offering me the admission for may intake.Thanks.

i had few queries... will i get a detailed hard copy of the call letter as well??
The mail only contains the details of the initial fee deposit. It doesnt contain the exact free breakup for the entire program and the dates when the next installments have to be paid.
Also when exactly is the program starting? is it starting in June or May? Because i had read in Pagalguy about June intake and the mail says May intake.
when will i get the details of the program??
also one more question...how recognized the degree offered by sp jain dubai/singapore is in india??

Hi Ishita,

You will receive a hard copy of the offer letter as well.
The full fee details are clearly mentioned on our website alongwith the last date for payment of fees.

In any case once you accept this offer you will receive further details.
The program start dates are also mentioned on our site underthe FAQs section and this is now a MAy intake.

Alot of our students get placed in India - so there is no issue about the program not being recognised in India.

Pls could you assist me with your appln no?

But the calls received so far is for IT, WM, IB, RM.........

Hi,

Im afraid I do not have this info and neither do we hand out such details.

It is upto you as I mentioned in another post whther you find it worth your while to take up the test - we are not interested in wasting your as well as our time if our seats were full up

We are interesting in finding the right candidates for our programme and there is no fixed no of seats that we have to fill up even if the candidiates are not the kind we are looking at.

Hi Shweta,

I was waitlisted because i had 58% in my first year of graduation. And i have no way in which i can change that.
I have a question if a person is falling short in his aptitude test you people are calling him again to take the test. Don't you think it is unfair?
In such cases even if seats are left you should be giving chances to other students who were waitlisted.
