i received call letter for the 2nd stage of the selection process-the evaluation. I will be paying the requiste fees through my credit card.
While going through my application form, i noticed that for the field "What is your plan on completing the program", i have marked "Join family business / Start an entrepreneurial venture ", and for this no campus placement services will be offered.
Whereas, i do need placement assistance, and I request you to kindly change this so that i am eligible for campus placement services.

Hi,
I have applied for SPJCM April 2009 intake.
I took the SPJAT on 11th Jan 2009 and got shortlisted for the evaluations.
However, i have not yet received any communication from the admisssions team and awaiting my date for the GD/PI.
Could anyone tell me when are the evaluations starting for those who wrote SPJAT on 11th Jan? Also, if its in process then what are the dates for next round of evaluations?

Myself Sumit Goyal from ahemdabad. Had completed Graduation in April 2006 done B.B.A from Gls Institute of Under Graduate Business Administration.After that had gained work experience in my own business of export and import , manufacturing of Industrial Gases and Trading of Engineering Goods .

This is not a degree as only universities can offer "degrees". In India this may not help you to get onto a phd -certain institutions abroad may accept this as qualification enough to get onto their PhD

1. What r the differences between joining the summer intake (apr) and winter intake (oct/nov/dec), specifically with regards to placements (i may be wrong abt this but few ppl who hav already passed out of spjcm hav suggested joining in april batch than the dec batch due to better placement chances, since companies keep their june recruitment in mind before visiting the campuses, and this benefits the april batch than the dec batch) THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL IN JOINING IN DEC OR APRIL - EVEN WITH REGARDS TO PLACEMENTS IT IS ONLY A MINDSET THAT COMPANIES RECRUIT ONLY IN MAY/JUNE - THEY HAVE A YEAR ROUND REQUIREMENT FOR MAB GRADS BUT AS MOST B SCHOOLS HAVE ONLY APRIL INTAKES THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO KEEP THEIR PLACEMENT CYCLE AT THAT POINT IN TIME
2. What r the differences between graduating out of spore campus and dubai campus, again with regards to placements, since this wud decide where we do our IIP and dissertation from, and ultimately also impact the placements (i am a smm aspirant so if i start from spore, i pass out from dubai and if i start from dubai i passout from spore, will these have any impact at all on the placements) The campus you finish out of has no bearing on where you will be placed. You can be placed, in Dubai, Singapore, India or anywhere else in the world, based on your preference, and the job location best suited to your needs and profile.

I had appeared for SPJAT on 11 Jan 2009 and my score was 89.79.
The application status says "Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapores GMBA (April 2009 intake) program. We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status"
