I had applied for GMBA program around 2 weeks back but my application status(application number is 29939-GHRM ) is still not updated.My apptitude test score is 73 percentile. I have an experience of 1 nd half yrs in IT.

I applied to SP Jain's GMBA program around 10 days ago and since then, the application status has not been updated. My application number is 30212-PMM. From this thread I came to know that the final round of evaluations will be held on 7th and 8th Feb. So, do you advise me to send an email to the admissions regarding this?

My basic profile stats are:

CAT - 97.4%
GMAT - 680
3.5 years of work experience in Marketing Analytics
Graduated from Delhi College of Engineering - 72.2%
XII - 87%
X - 85.4%

I have my evaluation session scheduled on 08th Feb'09 @ 1.30 PM onwards for RM. I was basically having a couple of Queries for the April'09 intake:

1. Is the Superspecialization fixed (in my case RM) or can be changed based upon your performance in evaluation round and subsequent finall call offer? IF THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE FINDS YOU TO BE MORE SUITABLE FOR ANOTHER SPEC THEY WOULD SUGGEST THE SAME TO YOU

2. If during initial application stages, a candidate has failed to opt for TORONTO option..can he opt for it at a later stage(provided he has gota final admit)? YES BUT PROVIDED THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE ALSO FEELS HE IS SUITABLE TO GOTO TORONTO

3. Is Feb 15th the Ultimate last date for Fee Payments ( considering that the final results can be only known by that time leaving hardly any time for the candidate to apply for Loan formalities )? SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE GIVEN SUFFICIENT TIME TO MAKE THE FULL FEE PAYMENT

I applied for the GMBA program on 9th jan on the basis of the CAT score of 94.4%ile. I have not received any response from the college yet. Can you throw some more light on this coz people have already got the call for the 7th-8th feb round.

THe next intake would be in Nov/Dec 09

We haven't yet finalised the details of this intake. Pls chk our website around mid April/early May 09 for updates on the next intake

I have secured 84 percentile in SPJAT & have relevant & good work ex of arnd 30 months in manufacturing company (fortune 100 company), with average acads & good extracurricular. do i stand a chance to get a call.

site shows that my status will be updated soon, but from the above few pages i understand that 7th - 8th feb is the last date for evaluation round (just 10 days), can you please let me know when will status be updated & how much time in advance will i be communicated if have an evaluation call.

I'd recievd an email, wherein the following link for given

I was able to make the payment, however I was unable to select the location, time or venue from the drop down :confused:
Anyone else facing similar problem while making the payment using the credit card??

I have already applied for S.P.Jain , Mumbai for their PGDM Course.Just wanted to know if applying for GMBA program @ SP Jain Dubai & Singapore will impact on my selection chances in any of them in any way. Infact this is the reason because of which i have been deterring to apply to the GMBA program as of now. Please suggest/advise.

I had appeared for SPJAT on 11 Jan 2009 and my score was 89.79.

The application status says "Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapores GMBA (April 2009 intake) program. We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status"
