Hi Shweta,i have the following queries:
1. I have booked my interview slot for 8th Feb 2009 12.30 PM IST.i am from Chennai and have already booked a return flight @ 8.20 PM on the same day...is that ok? it would help to know how far the venue is from the airport?
2. regarding the process of evaluation will GD be an elimination round?Essay / Case Study

would like to know if all this would be accommodated for evaluation if not which is the most probable?

I have the same issue. I was waitlisted post evaluation last time (Dec 0 and this time I am Waitlisted - Initial Screening. My application Number is 28092- IT.

Swetha,
This is the msg flashing as my status . Wait List - Initial Screening.

Now i know what that means but the amazing part s I got a call for Logistics that last time i applied( for Dec08 batch). Could not go for evals due to some prob, this time I applied for ITM. I am still not able to figure out that how can this happen. Any insight will be of great help.

Hi,
I have received the call letter and have made the payment online and received confirmation for the same. I was then redirected to the page where I had to select the date, time slot and unfortunately the power went down and the PC shut down. Kindly tell me as to how do I go back to choose my date-time.

Moreover, my call letter says:

Evaluations will be held in MUMBAI only on Saturday February 7th and Sunday February 8th, 2009

Should you be unable to attend the same or are unable to get a time slot suitable to your convenience for the above mentioned dates we wish to advise you that the next round is scheduled for February 14th and February15th, 2009. (To be reconfirmed)

I wish to choose Feb 15 as my date of evaluation, but the site does not show Feb 14 & 15.

Kindly acknowledge ASAP. Thanks in Advance.

THIS IS FINE - I THINK YOU SHOULD BE DONE IN TIME - SPJIMR IS ABOUT 30-40 MINS MAX FROM THE DOMESTIC AIRPORT

Hi,

In your case - you have already been through the evaluations last time. SO maybe the Admissions Committee is still taking time in reviewing your application. PLs be patient and wait until the end of Feb to know your final status

the last date for applying to sp jain - dubai/singapore for the april 09 intake has been extended from 31st jan 09 to 15th feb 09.

this is for your information and for those of you who missed out on applying to the programme.

i submitted my application on 27th jan.
i have to appear in an exam on 15th feb at chennai(i am at bangalore).

I saw on this thread that you are planing to have next round of evaluation on 14/15 th Feb.

mam, i really wish to join spjain and dont want any clash.

till now i have not received any thing about my status, kindly schedule my interview on this weekend if i deserve a call.(i request it if i am supposed to get a call and you have next evaluation on 14/15 Feb.)

my application no is 30679-IT .

Hi,

The cut off for CAT is 80%ile - but you can take a chance and apply as sometimes the Admissions Committee is willing to overlook a small difference from the cut off if you are meeting all the other criteria

Hi ,I had a problem while paying the evaluation fees. AFter making the payment i was redirected to a a page to select my interview date and timings. but i was not able to do that. the drop down box had no options present and i was not able to select anything.

anyone else with the same problem?? :confused:

This is fine - you can pay when we open up the time slots for 14/15 in a day or two

Or you can pay now and then choose your time slot later
