i guess, i can help u out with it. It is a computer based test. The questions are not of that high level which u expect in CAT, XAT. There are 5 sections. 1) English Comprehension 2) Logical Reasoning 3) Maths 4) General Knowledge 5) Critical reasoning
Every section has different weightage and different negative markings. There is a time duration for each individual sections. U cannot play around with different sections together, as the section goes away once its time is over.
The test is quite easy. If you have the basic preparation for such competitive tests, its very very easy.

Rutty i am going to take the apptitude test on april 14th for the june intake of GMBA, i just wanted to know whats format of the apptitude test, is it similar to the other competitive exams like the CAT or XAT which has quant,verbal ability,DI or is it any diff? also on the 14th april, apart from the apptitude test is there going to be any other form of evaluation?
hi !!!!!!every body first of all congrts to all .bad luck for me i didint made it through . i had applied for the pmm. i fail to understand what went wrong , because it is a very secret kind of a process which sp jcm follows , what i think is that my interview went very good and and even my interview with the director was also very nice . but alas nobody knows what went wrong , because they r never going to disclose what is the short coming .nyways , i am having a very bad day , also feeling veey down , but gud luk those who got selected .regards asheesh
hi, it was the same as for some of the experiences already posted in this post... 1.first there is a essay two topics each 100 words (ten mins each) (general topics..ur idol wat u gained from them..why mba sort of ..why spjcm sort of..which one quality of urs would u change..) 2.a case study (mine was some financial irregularities in an orgn.) each one in the hall had separate topics.... 3.gd.. usual topics.... gambling...euthanasia... and general usual stuf.. 4.first roudn of interview....i had with a gentleman and lady ..very friendly ppl.. usual questions.. why mba why u why now why here.... 5.second intw.. with the president if the isnt.. very casual... work profile.. wat u r doing currently... etc all the best.. maldini

hey hi, I too had applied for PMM and have been put at WAIT LIST. is that the same case with you? You too are in WAIT LIST or got a REJECT LETTER? just want to know it, coz i think they are putting everyone for PMM in WAIT LIST. my interview too went very well, but u r right, we dont know, what are the reasons for not giving an offer. kindly write back, what is the status of ur application- WAIT LIST or REJECT.

hi.. I have a query. I have been shortlisted for evaluations for 31st March in Mumbai (gmba). However I will be in Dubai duing that period. Do they conduct interviews in Dubai as well?If so, will I be able to get it shifted?
Hi Rutty, My Application No. 14365 WM I recieved a call/mail for the Second Stage (Evalutions) today and i selected my slot thereafter for 31st March but then after some time I recieved a mail saying
'We thank you for your interest in our GMBA (June intake) program. We have scrutinized your application and wish to inform you that you are falling short on one of our admission criteria which requires a student to have a score i.e either you do not have a score OR you have a score which does NOT meet our requirements.'
When I login to the site i see the status as 'You are presently in the evaluation stage of our admission process.'

hi dear it is basically a regret which they have given to me .i dont know what they want and what is there need , my school mates as well as my college mates have applied to this course and they have more or less similar profile of mine , having less score as compared to mine, have opted for the same the pmm , but they have got through but , not me , i am very much taken aback , by this its horrible , actually

I applied online for GMBA June 2007(IT management) intake on March 20 and have not recieved any confirmation in the form of application number or the acknowledgement receipt. All that I got at the end of submission was a "thank you kind of note". I have mailed the [email protected] and [email protected] but till now have not received any response. Could you please check out if my application was properly submitted. 2. My second query is regarding the degree which SPJ will offer at the end of 1 year GMBA course. What will the degree be and will it be from SPJAIN mumbai/Dubai/ Singapore? It will be really good if you post a template kind of offered as a degree on the SP's blog site. 3. Can you shed a little light on the scholarships offered by SP Jain? Things like do we need to apply for it separately (is yes, when?) or are our admission application used for it? Whats the scholarship amount? What are the criterion for the same?

hey one of my frnds who had applied for PMM has also got a regret... and his interview was also very good.... he is from VJTI... state topper in 10th n 12th... n distinction in engineering... he was also very surprised and disheartened with the regret... me and one of my frnds who have applied for the same course PMM are also waitlisted... can people who have got offers from PMM please post on this site so that the picture becomes clear that are these pple really giving offers for PMM?
I too am under wait list.. for PMM.. i too think, that these ppl are not giving offers to PMM guys. everyone whom i saw are under waitlist.. it will be nice if anyone has got PMM OFFER LETTER in hand. I think, there are very less people to apply for this course.. and they are still thinking whether to continue this course or not. What did they tell, by when will the waiting list be reviewed and we can know the exact scenario?

Can someone tell me at what point of time we are supposed to produce the Letter of recommendation (LOR)?
Do we need to produce it at the time of GD/interview?
The reason why I am asking is I am applying for June 07 intake in a day or two and my manager will be out of station from next week for 2 weeks. If I get a call for interview by 1st week of April, I may not be able to get the LOR
