This is for all the students who have been waitlisted/rejected for the PMM course and have alot of doubts regarding the same. I wish to set the record straight: 1) We have already sent out offer letters to students who were selected by our panel and not everyone is waitlisted or rejected. Students NOT meeting our criteria or requirements have been waitlisted or rejected. 2) We receive a large share of applications for the PMM specialization most of which are outstanding and select only those who meet our specific requirements. 3) We are not planning to stop running this specialization as of now, it is very much on and will run for the JUNE 07 intake.
Thanks
Hi rutty,
I have applied for PMM and have been under waitlist. got the results just yesterday. Rutty, are there instances, where the candidates really got the offer after being in the wait list? OR is wait list a sofasticated way of a REGRET? Also, we would like to know tht how is the rush for PMM? According to my knowledge, PMM applications overall are less compared to IB and IT and WM. Then why this wait list?
Thanks for letting us know this. Well, i think, there are not much applications in PMM. compared to IT AND IB, the applications are less. Anywyas, hoping for the best. we are still in wait list.
U must have joined the sp jain yahoo group. did u meet people there who has been offered PMM? How many such candidates are there along with you ?
Thanks and Regards.
Hi, than IT or IB or anyother stream , none of us would know the actual figures , apart from the admin office. If any of the streams interests a candidate, then he or she should ideally apply for that stream ,without this being a factor for consideration. Aint it ? Apparently, this factor should not also affect a rejection or selection of a candidate. I can see the admission office has already answered(loud & clear), admission intake for PMM is still on. Hoping the best for you and others, see you at Singapore. ATb buddy! Cheers, Mr_Forever! (PMM-June,07)
You can take the test in Bangalore itself and i have already given you the link to register in my other post addressed to you. thanks
Hi Rutty, Please could you tell me the details on registering for the SP Jain Aptitude test which is going to be conducted on 14th April? And since i am staying in Bangalore, where can i attend the test?
Hi, 1) You need to help me out with your name in order for me to check whether we have received your application or not. 2) you would be awarded a GLOBAL MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (GMBA) from SP JAIN DUBAI-SINGAPORE. 3) Pls send and email to [email protected] regarding alumni contacts and we will see what best we can do for you as we are bound by our Privacy policy and cannot hand out their contact details unless permitted by them. thanks
Dear Bharucha ji, Could you please help me out with the below mentioned queries? 1. I applied online for GMBA June 2007(IT management) intake on March 20 and have not recieved any confirmation in the form of application number or the acknowledgement receipt. All that I got at the end of submission was a "thank you kind of note". I have mailed the [email protected] and [email protected] but till now have not received any response. Could you please check out if my application was properly submitted. 2. My second query is regarding the degree which SPJ will offer at the end of 1 year GMBA course. What will the degree be and will it be from SPJAIN mumbai/Dubai/ Singapore? It will be really good if you post a template kind of offered as a degree on the SP's blog site. 3. I would like to know how I can reach the current students of SPJ. How do I go about getting the contact details? Please let me know whom to contact for this? Thanks, Dreamchaser
Today I have got my offical confirmation from gmba with the application number.
Regarding the almuni details, please be assured the info will not be used in any wrong way. Tushar Malhotra( GMBA 2006-2007, IT management batch) was my ex-collegue and I have lost touch with him, When I was going through the brochure found his name and so was curious to get in touch.
Hope you will help me now in getting me his contact details. I have also mailed gmba for the same as you mentioned.

Vineet, the LAST aptitude test for the JUNE 07 intake is to be held on the 14th of April 07. pls click on the following link for further details and registration procedures:
I had applied for the June intake and had my GD/PI on March 10th. I have got a mail from the admission committee that I need to give the aptitude test again as I was falling short of the minimum requirement in this one category alone.
Now assuming I get the required score by appearing for the test to be held on April 14th, would I be put on waiting list or would I be considered directly as I have already completed all the GD and PI formalities ? Also I would like to know,
How long would it take for me to know my aptitude test results and secondly the final status of my admission?
Can you shed a little light on the scholarships offered by SP Jain? Things like do we need to apply for it separately (is yes, when?) or are our admission application used for it? Whats the scholarship amount? What are the criterion for the same?
Now the first two articles (posted on 10th March, 2007) state that the Singapore campus was recently inaugurated. But as far as i know there is already a batch going on @ S'pore!! So i was a bit confused, whether is this a new campus or just a formal inauguration of the same one.
I recieved a mail two days back saying I've been shortlisted for GD/PI on 31stMarch. I hv registered for the 11.30 slot on the link provided in the document. However, I have not recieved any automated mail confirming the slot for me (as mentioned in the website)Please advise. My Application#: 14485-IT.
Dear Sandarbh, PLs read my post on SP Jain Dubai and Singapore - Admission Queries wherein I have clearly stated that students who have received offers cannot use Pagalguy as the official forum to post their queries. pls write an email to [email protected] or call us for any queries that you might have. Thanks

Dear Jayakumar, Once we have your score, we will collate the data with your profile and only if the admissions Committee decides we could offer you a place
The test results would be out in a week to 10 days from the test date. Within the same time frame you should know your final status..

Hi, Yes, you would have to apply separately for scholarships. we haven't yet fixed the date as to when we would start accepting such applications. The amount depends on a case to case basis and the criterion would be updated on our website when we start accepting applications. thanks
Good morning Rutty.

Hi, This is a technical issue. We are addressing it at the moment. you should receive the call letter by tomorrow latest. Incase you do not pls inform me accordingly. Inconvenience caused is regretted. thanks

Dear Dhawal, Yes, we did have our inauguration recently and that was an official or rather formal opening for our entire campus and more in particular for the our brand new Management development Centre on the campus.
The entire tuition fee remains US$ 25,600 and there is no change in that, the higher figure is mentioned taking into account the other various expenses that you will incur. Yet the total cost would not exceed 13-14 laksh in INR.
Now the first two articles (posted on 10th March, 2007) state that the Singapore campus was recently inaugurated. But as far as i know there is already a batch going on @ S'pore!! So i was a bit confused, whether is this a new campus or just a formal inauguration of the same one.
i can only hope that i am called for your last round of interviews and thats about it.
regards, avdhesh
Dear Avdhesh, Thank you for your message. While the 10th, 12th and final year are very important and looked at more carefully, we cannot disregard or overlook the inbetween years of graduation as well.
You would also appreciate the fact that we receive very high quality applications from some extremely outstanding students and hence at times we have to waitlist some of the students who do not meet certain criteria. I'm afraid as of now you are waitlisted and would have to be patient with regards to any change in your application status.
pls let me know if i can be of any further assistance. thanks
