hi rutty,

am dhananjay. have applied for the investment banking specialization and am all set to take the 14th april aptitude test. would like to know if there are any cutoffs for the test as such. also i havent taken the CAT/XAT/GMAT, so if at all am rejected for the june 2007 intake can i reapply for the december 2007 intake with the same scores or i need to retake the exam.
when do i come to know the scores of this exam? does the evaluation process begin on the same day itself or am given some breathing time in between ? what all do i need to carry with me for the aptitude test ?
would appreciate an early reponse from u

Thanks for the response.My application no. is 14658- IT.Please have a look and let me know if I should give the aptitude test or not .Though I have got the response from GMBA that it is not needed if you have good academics and work-ex but I m still doubtful about it and don't want to take any chance.

How frequently are the GD\PIs held? once a month?
The next one i suppose is on the weekend of 31st march.
Any idea of the dates for the ones coming after that??

Dear Dhananjay,
The cut off for our aptitude test would be 75 percentile. yes you may reapply for the Dec 07 intake using these scores.
The results of the test would be available in a week or 10 days after the test.
The evaluation is not on the same day as the test. there is nothing specific that you would need to carry apat from the usual - your stationery, Hal ticket and ID proof.

Hi Noopur,
As your CAT sore is borderline you may take the aptitude test to improve on your scores.

Hi,
The dates for the next round of evaluations have not yet been fixed.
There is no fixed time frame as to when these evaluations are held.

Dear Dhananjay,
The aptitude test is like any other MBA entrance test. We test you on our Mathematical and Verbal ability as well as Logic and GK. There are multiple choice questions with negative markings.
It is only a computer based exam and not an online exam - you have to goto the test center to take the test.

I wanted to suggest this..cant the classes be held at the same place throught the year. In this way the students can feel more comfortable i feel. Also, food is an important criteria ! is there a provision for vegetarian food 😃

Thank you for your suggestion but we want to give students a truly "global" experience and hence have a 2 city crossover model wherein students are exposed to the cultures and business traditions of two of the fastest growing cities in the world - Dubai and Singapore.
till date students have been very comfortable with studying at both cities.
We do understand that food is a very important aspect and have provision for all types of food, vegetarian included.

this is dhananjay again. i have a problem on hand now. i have applied for IB earlier and my application no is IB 13295. but now i would like to changeover to product marketing and management. is it possible ? i havent been evaluated yet as i havent taken CAT/XAT/GMAT. i will be taking the aptitude test to be held on april 14th. pl advise me on the future course of action to be taken.
