i can see the Latest placement figures for the batch of 2006-07, but still the latest figures have not been divided as for indian placements and abroad placements.
Can Rutty mam please give the average placement figures for students who opted for indian job and students who opted for foreign jobs.

the batch strength can range from anywhere between 15-60 depending on the stream. There is no fixed no. as yet.

If 40-45 would be the strength of IT, likewise, what would be the strenght of PMM for June 2007 intake ? All the courses would have 40-45 strength?

I appeared for evaluation process on 31st March. A strange thing happened in the interview...earlier i had applied for two specialisations IT and BM but before the interview i got the mail that i can apply for only one specialization and i am fortunate that my application is not rejected on the pretext that i made two applications....
But in the PI round i was asked that whether i would like to go for BM ( even though i had finally opted for IT specialization). I said i am open to it.
1. So my question is whether i am being considered for IT or BM ?
2. and till which date we should expect the results for the candidates who appeared for 31st March?
( My back ground : 14233 - IT , State rank holder, BE ( EEE ) from top REC college ( KREC Surathkal) , 3.75 yrs in TCS, 1 yr Work exp. in USA...

i have gone under evaluation process on 31st by mistake i have given supe spclztn as PMM, after realization when i got call letter , i malied GMBA but not got any reply regarding the change from PMM to SMM .
when i called to ur office they told me that i can tell people present on the eveluation day then it will be taken care.
i told them and and the both the interviewre before my interview .but no one has taken down my request ,now i m affraid that how u ppl will know that i m opting for SMM becoz all conversation happened oraly no one has take down my request .
please help me i am in delimma what to do.

I have already missed two evaluation dates, first time(Mar 10) I was not available in Mumbai, second time for March 31,i didnt received the mail and when I contacted about the new date on March 30, I was told that I would be getting another chance somewhere in April.
Please let me know the tentative date of the evaluation process and the date by which exact status of my admission will be known to me, as I am working with TCS, and would require giving a notice before leaving. Also, let me know the exact course start date in June, as it would be of great help in deciding about the notice period duration.
I feel that this will be last evaluation, so how many of the seats will be available for candidates appearing this time.

Yes, we do accept scores of upto the past 2 years. So you may mention your CAT score in your application.

AS mentioned in my earlier posts - once you're on the waitlist you will have to be patient as this waitlist is reviewed by the admissions Committee from time to time. However there is no fixed time frame as to when this list is reviewed.
PLs chk your status at regular intervals for any change i n the same.

well.. I'm pretty much a back-seat guy.. cz I don't hav dat crucial scores in entrance exams n al..
finished my B.Sc in Electronic Media this July, started workin (6months full-time work-ex), appeared for CAT right after I caught Dengue! scored only 62.1 (without prep).
But hav good academics in College, (8.94, 9.13 & 8.85 GGPA)
& scored 97.63 in ATMA.
rite now in Wait list for Investment Banking..
also appearing for aptitude test..

As of now we do not have the exact dates of the next evaluations.
As soon as we do we shall start sending out the cal letters.
The outcome of the evaluations take about a week to 10 days to be released.
The exact start date too has not been fixed approx between 2nd-3rd week of June 07.

Today I received a mail that I've been offered a seat in IB specialization.
The last date for accepting the offer is 15th of April (!!!!!) and for accepting it I need to deposit a huge sum of USD 2500...
Now I'd like to know, If SPJain has tie up with any bank for education loan ?? If yes then what are the terms and conditions?? If any kind of collateral is required or are we exempted from all these botherations?? Kindly let me know urgently.
For the benefit of fellow applicant's, here's my brief profile :
Xth -> 75.11% (State Board)
XIIth -> 54.11% (State Board)
B. Tech. -> IIT
Work Ex -> 4.9 years in a PSU (Forgone sal 7.2 LPA)
ECA -> Pretty good (Captain of college atheletics team and member of football team)
CAT -> 96.8 %tile & 96.38%tile
XAT -> 98.05%tile & 97.14%tile

I checked the status online. It shows active waitlist. Just want to know the deadlines by which i would come to know about the final decision( i.e. in one week 2 week or in days something like that ) ..as i have to very quickly decide about USA onsite opportunity in company...have to answer my managers...but really i am very much interested in this program ( be it IT or BM )...hope to get a quick reply..
