But the refund policy states that 'Last date for payment of all fees / monies - April 30, 2007'
How could somebody applying at the end of April pay their fees immediately???

I just checked the placement stats on the s.p jain web site. I am planning to apply in I.T field. I saw that highest packages are offered to the I.T people. Could you please tell in bit more detail about the kind of profiles being offered in the placements. What was average and highest package only in India?. I saw highest was 57 lakhs. That must be after converting some foreign placement to INR?? . What sort of profiles and positions are offered to I.T people this year? There is no mention of this on the site so I though I can ask you. One more thing, same company coming to sp. jain mumbai campus and dubai one, what's the difference in packages and profiles being offered??
I am having an exp. of 3.5 years in good I.T company. So I was interested in checking out the placements stats before applying.

I' applied for evaluation on 28th of Jan, Evaluation took place on 3rd Feb I guess and since then I was on Wait List for IB specialization.
Today I received a mail that I've been offered a seat in IB specialization.
The last date for accepting the offer is 15th of April (!!!!!) and for accepting it I need to deposit a huge sum of USD 2500...
Now I'd like to know, If SPJain has tie up with any bank for education loan ?? If yes then what are the terms and conditions?? If any kind of collateral is required or are we exempted from all these botherations?? Kindly let me know urgently.

Xth -> 75.11% (State Board)
XIIth -> 54.11% (State Board)
B. Tech. -> IIT
Work Ex -> 4.9 years in a PSU (Forgone sal 7.2 LPA)
ECA -> Pretty good (Captain of college atheletics team and member of football team)
CAT -> 96.8 %tile & 96.38%tile
XAT -> 98.05%tile & 97.14%tile

I checked the status online. It shows active waitlist. Just want to know the deadlines by which i would come to know about the final decision( i.e. in one week 2 week or in days something like that ) ..as i have to very quickly decide about USA onsite opportunity in company...have to answer my managers...but really i am very much interested in this program ( be it IT or BM )...hope to get a quick reply..
Well its only natural that someone who applies later and is offered beyond 30th April would be given adequate time to pay the fees.
The 30th April deadline is for students who have applied and have been evaluated earlier.

All the placements details we have are clearly mentioned on our website and on SP Jain Dubai and Singapore - Admission Queries.
Some of the companies that visit SPJIMR, MUmbai and SPJCM, Dubai -Singapore may be common, others are not the same. The placement Stats for SPJIMR, Mumbai are available on their website. You may draw a comparison by viewing the same.
however pls note that we offer very specific specializations which are different from theirs.

Im afraid there is no waitlist no and there is no way to know ones chances ofgetting shortlisted. This is a decision of the Admissions Committee alone and there is no fixed time frame as to when this list gets reviewed.

I have got admission in Wealth Management course for June Intake. I'm very happy and excited, just wanted to find out what is the certificate/degree/diploma awarded to the students after successful completion of the course. What are the accredations of the Institute as the brochure doesn't state any such things. What I found out is that in the early days of the Institute a PGDM was awarded but now I find no mention of the Diploma. It would be really appreciable if you could clear these doubts.

I have checked the stats on the web site but it does not throw any light on the kind of profiles offerred , packages given my indian compaies, highest offerred in India .
I have also seen that some companies are common and some are not. EVen spjimr doesn't mention profiles and specific packages. My question was if say a company CTS comes to Spjimr and spjcm then what is the difference in the package and profiles offerred. I am taking cognizant(cts) just for an example.
Also the highest package this time is in I.T. how many got more than say 25 lakhs (after conversion to INR)? This can give an idea of the placements.
I understand that SPJIMR and SPJCM are offering different courses but still we can draw some conclusions.After all the brand name of s.p jain is same
