hey mukund,
from bangalore, there were around 200+ people who gave the test ....... still not perfect about the figure, but pretty close to that.....
Anyone attending the evaluation on 1st & 2nd September, please let me know
I saw many people quoting that evaluation is there on 1-2 september, did any1 got such mail as my status is under evaluation for past 1.5 months and i haven't got any intimation as such about evaluation dates......... If any1 has got plz reply
I am a fresh graduate in Bachelor of Management Studies from H.R. College, Mumbai; having secured 76.92% in my final year. I have also secured above distinction marks throughout my academic career.
I have just applied to SP Jain, Dubai (January '08 intake) for specialization in Banking Management.
Last year I had given my CAT but could only score 79.25 percentile; due to which I am planning to take the SP Jain aptitude test and also give my GMAT exam.
Could you please tell me that being a fresh graduate how much is the minimum that I should secure in both these exams to be able to get into SP Jain, Dubai.
Also, what do you think are my chances considering my background?

Hi,
I would be attending the evaluation process on Sep 01. Have you also been shortlisted. If so when are you attending. How is ur prep going on. Do keep posting.
hi folks, I would like to know what is the ratio of candidates called for gd/pi to the total applicants? i have my gd/pi scheduled for the 1st & 2nd of september,07! am in a dilemma whether to attend the gd/pi round if almost everyone who applies is shortlisted. am not being high-handed in this or doubting spjain's credibility...just wanted to get a good idea about the statistics. looking forward to hearing from you.
From the Santa Cruz airport you will be able to get to the campus in maximum 45 min, please plan accordingly.
Thanks
Hi Rutty,
Just wanted to know that how far the venue of the evaluation process is from the Santa Cruz airport. I need to plan my itinerary and need this information for making the bookings.
The aptitude test scores are one of our criteria for short listing you for the evaluation stage. For the Evaluation stage what matters most is how well you do in your GD/PI ,essays, case studies.
The reference letters need to be send to the Liaison office before you go in for the Evaluation. If you have not submitted the same as yet please do so at the earliest.
The whole evaluation process will take about 6-7 hrs at the most so please come prepared accordingly. There will be no accommodation provided you will need to arrange that on your own.
Thanks.
Dear Rutty,
Can you please answer the foll queries: 1>How much weightage does the CAT/GMAT/Other score carry in the evaluation stage? 2>Can you please give a brief overview on the various stages in the evaluation process? 3>Does the recommendation letters be sent to your Liason office Mumbai prior to the evaluation process or is it ok if we can bring them at the venue along with the other documents. 4>Are there any facilities-(accomodation) for outstation candidates who have been shortilisted for othe evaluation process? And how long does the evaluation process be scheduled for so that we can plan our return tickets accordingly.
If the website shows that you are in evaluation stage and you have not received a mail from us as yet please get in touch with our office or please send a mail to [email protected] regarding this. There could be chances that the mail didn't reach your in box.
thanks.

The cut off for S P Jain aptitude test is 75 percentile and for GMAT it is 650 and abv.
I wont be able to comment on your chances that will be the decision of the admissions committee.
Thanks.
