The admission criteria states that scores from CAT/XAT/GMAT/ SPJain aptitude test are taken into consideration and that scores upto last 3 years are valid.
I've taken CAT 2004 with a decent percentile. I also have 2 years of work experience. Can I use this score for the Jan 08 or July 08 intake ?
Your profile looks ok.There is not set age limit, as long as you are a graduate and meet the other requirements you can put in your application.
Thanks
HI RUTTY,:)
Thank You for the information Provided.
I have downloaded the application anfd in theprocess of filling it. I do not have any score to submit as of now. What options do I have now, (correct me if I am wrong) - 1) To opt for spjain aptitiude test. What is the last date for request for taking a test? ??: OR
2) Apply for gmat. When the latest can I submit this score.
You can sit in for the S P Jain Aptitude test which is going to be submitted in September, once the results are our we can collate it with your application form. You will not need to apply again.
Thanks
Hi rutty,
I gave the SPJAT on 12th Aug 2007, but my score is pretty low 59.74. other wise my academic record is as follows:-
Tenth :80.4 % XII :77.5 % B. Tech :72 %
along with this I have a 14 months experience during which I have been a high performer and have won many awards and acclaims.
Although with the low score in SPJAT, I have applied for the evaluation stage and sent all the documents to the liaison office.
My question is that if in case there is a cut off of the SPJAT score due to which my application may be rejected. Can I sit in the next SPJAT exam scheduled in September, and if in case there is a better score i can apply again with the new score or i only one application is allowed per sem and I have to wait for the next semester entry to get into the evaluation stage?
If your CAT result meets our cut off its fine , if not then you will need to sit in for the S P Jain Aptitude test or give us a better score. It is up to you whether you want to take up the test.We will consider the best score out of all the scores that you submit.
thanks
Hi Rutty
I have one more query While submitting the online form should I select that I want to take the test or not. Will the screening process begin once I take the test or it will be evaluated on my CAT percentile itself.
Will they reconsider the application after the score or is it screened only once.
Once you have submitted your application form you will get the automated mail with your application number which needs to be quoted for all future communications. The same mail will have the reference forms as an attachment. It is mandatory to submit the reference forms within 15-20 days of putting in your application in order to complete the entire procedure.
Thanks

I have a doubt about the application process.. If I submit the application online, how and wen are the referee forms to be submitted. Can I send the professional recommendation thru e-mail and the educational reco as a hard copy,, or r both the recos needed in the same format. Also, if i m sending the hard copy reco, is it required to be sent directly by the referee.. Please clarify...
You can send the reference forms either as a soft copy or a hard copy, both need not be in the same format. The reference forms will need to reach us 15-20 days after you have put in your application.
If the referees are willing to send it to us directly you can opt for that or ask them to send it to you and then you can courier it to us.
Thanks

Hi Rutty, I am planning to take the upcoming SPJAT and GMAT by end of this year. I just wanted to know if I apply after my GMAT and want "only" my GMAT score to be counted, Is this possible??...Or will they collate the two??
I have 2 years of wprk ex and good academics.I have given Gmat got a score of 650.Just want to know is it ok to get an admission in Invetsnment Banking program or should I apply for Aptitude Test of Spjain.
Just to add on to previous post I had given XAT and CAT last year and got percentiles 87 and 85 .Should I mention that in form and should I giev aptitude test or these percentiles are suffucient to get a call.
