Yes this is a one year program. You will spend half of the year in Singapore while the other half in Dubai.
The fees of the course is 11 Lacs approx..(u can refer the website for the details of the break up ). The only thing that varies is the food expenses which is solely dependent on you. So there is as such no variation in the fees structure; irrespective of the location you start off...

As far as the locations are concerned; its already decided by SPJ that a particular set of classes have to start at Dubai and another set at Singapore...For instance Marketing, starts at Singapore each year....

Hi Supriya,
1) There is no difference between the Jan and June intakes. There is no specific reason behind having 2 intakes - both of them are the same for us. There is no advantage or disadvantage of applying for any of the intakes. You may apply for any of the intakes depending on your situation.
2) We would start accepting applications for the June 08 intake around Dec 07. PLs check our website then for the same.
3) We accept CAT/XAT/GMAT of upto thepast 3 years. So your XAT 06 score will be valid for the June 08 intake.

Are there any specific reasons for having two different cycles of intake? I am asking this question because i wanted to know if there are any advantages in applying to one cycle over another. I am not sure in which cycle i need to apply..2) when will the application process for june 2008 open?3) I had taken up xat last year and i have a 89 percentile. As ours is an institute you will not be awarded a masters degree but a GMBA certification.
Most universities in India require you to havea masters degree before you progress onto a PHd.
Some instituitions abraod wouild allow you to progress onto a phd post the GMBA

I scored 64% in my final exam....but with aggregate it comes down to 56%.......though I have done extremly well in extra curricular activities with distinguished achievements and have a good exp. of 4.5 years in research and analytics (Investment Banking and consultancy)....
Do I stand any chance for SP Jain Dubai or Singapore......

i have a query...like u r sayin tht the students will be getting a GMBA certification and not a degree....will this be at power with degrees or PGDBA offered by Indian B schools or B schools abroad....i know its not certified by AICTE since the prog. is not in India.
Will this certification be recognised by coorporate...i mean apart from the ones which come for the campus

you are confused- the essays are to be written during the evaluations whilethe Aptitude test would broadly cover areas like Quant, reasoning, verbal, GK etc

Im not sure if we will get 2 write essays. Coz its just a 1 hr long test. Anyways i read it somewhere on this forum only that there will be 6 sections: verbal, RC, Quant, DI, GK & Reasoning. Though i doubt if they can hav so many sections in jst 1 hr.

Yes, you can apply afresh for the June 08 intake if you do not get through the Jan 08 intake.
