Even before the website was updated, I received the mail from the admissions office for the evaluation...So keep checking your mails as well.. Especially ensure that the mail isn''t directed to your bulk mail...

Hi..cool..my status was updated on the website sometime back...thanks for the help again..I have been put on waitlist for evaluation saying I fall short on one of the criteria's...not something that I was expecting..nothign much I can do now..!!
Can anyone comment on how long has it taken incase of other people who were waitlisted for evaluation...Hoping for the best..!!

u can probably try retrieving the appl# frm the website if u login with the id n PW u used last time on the applications link...else,scan ur prev emails or correspondence,if u have any....if u still dont get it,the best thing to do is call 'em n chk if the ID# is really required this time...hope that helps...:)

You can try contacting SPJIMR, Mumbai Office and get the App No from there. The office opens at 9 AM and closes by 5 PM...They will ask you your Name, ID you had used last time to apply and your date of birth.
Can anyone tell me how many copies of certificates do we carry for the evaluations? Also, by whom should we get the copies certified?

Carry 2 sets of attested copies of all teh documents... not just teh marksheets but all the docs....We werent mentioned earlier and hence had to do it at SPJ....
Get it certified by a principal of a school or HOD ....!!

I m interested for GMBA jan intake. Will be appearing for SPJAT on sept. 30th
currently i am working as a bussiness development executive with ljoutsourcing in gujarat. i started with the company 3 years back as a calling agent.
my academics are as follows
10th- 82%
12th- 77.5%
B.A (political science, sociology and eng literature)- 61%
MA in english literature- 59%
i have participated in various extracurricular activities.
Can u pls tell me wht are the chances for me getting admission?
And also how much time will it take to get the results of SPJAT?
As i m appearing for the aptitude test on 30th. i have not yet submitted my application yet. Please advice...

You need to submit the forms within 10 days from the date of application. Your referee can fill the soft copy and mail it to this email id directly from his email id then there is no need for signature.

Boss, i am afraid that u wont be able to find the mock spjat....cause it is a computer adaptive test and so no papers available..
Again, the pattern changes year after year and other main thing is that it is pretty new...so mock spjat is way to go as of now.....But be rest assured, the pattern is simple and u can look at the previous posts to have a feel of the test...........All the students who have given this spjat have jotted down their experiences ..... which may be of gr8 help to u

While I do understand your concerns, pls note that B-schools can award Diplomas or certificates and none of these will aid you for getting into PhD in India. Only degree holders can pursue PhD in India. Some instituitions abraid may let you do PhD post a diploma or a certificate course.
You are definately studying a POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT and there is no doubt about that.
Well switiching jobs so far has never been a problem for any of our alumni because of the excellent reputation on our insititute and i'm sure you would not face any difficulties either.

As u said that only universities can offer degrees.But again as mentioned by you any BSchool or institution can offer a Diploma or a Certificate, then why does SPJain not give a diploma like most BSchools/autonomous institutions do.
With this GMBA certificate will we be able to call ourselves as post Graduate?
If a student wants to go for higher studies(Phd) after this GMBA program able to do so.
For a Phd we need to be post graduates for which we need a diploma/degree and not a certificate.
I completely understand the enormous industry recognition that SPJain enjoys but this is a issue which i suppose everybody here will be facing.
Also Say for eg after a placement from the GMBA program i wish to switch my job after 2 years.The new employer will definately want the candidate to be a post gradute or a degree/diploma holder.All companies have such requirements.
What will be our position then after the GMBA program.Will the new company even consider my candidature?

1) There isn o fixed no of questions. We will test on areas like Quantitative, Verbal, REasoning, GK
2) The results should be out within a week to 10 days from the test date
3) yes , you may apply before taking the test and we will update your score later
4) We havent yet decided about the next evaluation yet.
