Presently working in AREVA. I would like to know about my prospects in GMBA.
My wrkex is 6 mnths (which i realize is not much). however, i would like to know if my wrkex is sufficient for GMBA or shall i try for it after gaining more exp. Moreover , it'll be helpful if u could suggest some specialization with my kind of profile.

My cat %ile is 87.2 and i will be having approx 1 year work ex till june 2007 in addition to that i have 6 months industry exp (which is a part of summer internship).
My query is that i have very low percentile in verbal section thats why i wanted to know weather you consider a composite cat score or you consider sectionals also. Or i have to take spjain aptitude test for clearing the first stage.
I have discussed about my profile with you in my previous post and you advised me to apply for june intake.
Please suggest the best way !

. In April 2004 I had to quit my job to assist my father in the family business as he was not keeping well. ( So this has created a gap of about an yr ). Will this be considered against me when weighing my application . Also can i mention this as part-time employment on the form ??
I have given XAT but got a very bad percetile of 63 . I have entered that in the Online application . I want to take the aptitude test in Hyderabad . But it gives me only one date in Jan i.e 28th Jan. Could you let me know when will it be conducted in Hyderabad in the month of Feb .
Also do I take the aptitude test ..get the results ,fill the form and then submit .. Or do I submit the form irrespective of when I am taking the aptitude test .
Once I submit the form how long does it usually take for me to get short listed for the next round( assuming that I will be short listed )

i had updated my cat score (overall: 98.83) onto the spjain website.
(1) Do i have to also apply got the test... 1500/-?, OR,
(2) should i wait for the call letter from spjain?

Will the second aptitude test be surely conducted in the coming months and also will it be disadvantageous to take the second test as ur selection is on a continous basis. I could not take any management entrance test this year as i was not in country so i don't have any scores, are the people having CAT and XAT scores given preference?

i had got- - STD 10---- 67% (1994)
STD 12---- 60% (1999)
but from 1994 end to 1997 end i was completely bed ridden because of acute illness(which i can prove, as i have medical certificates).
B.Tech (electrical engineering)---- 77% (2003)
lots of extra curricular activities ( Even played in the under 19 district cricket team).
GMAT-- 780.
Languages known-Eng, French, Hindi, Tamil.
work ex- 4+ years till date.
(As a Sr Project Engineer, in a engineering consultancy firm. I had done many high end imp projects.)
Now my questions are-
1) How are my chances for S.P.Jain Mumbai and singapore...and also post MBA..(i.e. getting job at singapore)
2) I also like to know does Sr Project Engineer contribute manegerial experence.. do please help me out....

We look at the overall cat percentile and not sectionwise. You need not take our aptitude test.

Hi,
No, this work exp would not be discounted. We have not yet decided when we would be conducting the test again. You may submit the form without a score but we would not process the same until we receive a score. Yes you may update us about your XAT score by emailing us on [email protected]. Pls do not forget to mention your application no. We will collate the data and review your application accordingly.
No, you need not take the aptitude test if your XAT percentile is 80 percentile and above.
