No, as your XAT percentile is 92.3 you need not take the aptitude test.
All rounds carry equal weightage.

Hi,
I will answer your queries in the manner asked:
1. We close for admissions on 30th of April 2007. Depends when in April you are taking the gmat
2. & 3. For any updates about your application you need to inform us by sending an email to [email protected] not forgetting to mention your application no.
Thanks

hi Rutty,
I Have applied for the June intake 2007. The following are my queries:

1. I am planning to write my Gmat in April 2007, will that be too late for a call??

2. I am also appearing for the Sp Jain Aptitude test this sunday. In case of my GMAT score should be better, when should i indicate you regarding the same?

3. According to your site, we have no ways of updating or modifying an already submitted application form. In that case how do we go about informing you our suitable aptitude test scores?

Do clarify the above.

Wishes and Regards,
Senthil

We need to look at your application and then decide whtehr you need to tkae the test or not as you are missing the cut by a nvery narrow margin.
if you wish to improve on the score you may take the test.
thanks

Hi Rutty,
Thank you for the immediate reply. Unfortunately I have booked my dates for the GMAT on the 15th of April. I can send in my score that day itself through mail. But the official score card as you know would take time. Will that be fine or should i look into having my test scores earlier ? ?

Senthil
Hi rutti,

Thanks for showing your concern.
I want to ask that around which date i am likely to get the interview call if i apply now.
Actually, presently I am working on a very critcial project therefore won't be able to come before mid of april.

KIndly suggest what should I do?

Hi Rutty,

I have one small query. I am an IT professional with an experience of around 3+ years. I did appear for XAT last year with 95% but unfortunately my english percentile is quite less i.e around 50%.
Could you please let me know incase sectional percentiles hold true for selection or over all percentile matters and also do I need to reappear for SP Jain aptitude test.

Regards,
Sunny

Yes your score by 15th April is ok but you would be reqd to send us the official score as soon as your receive the same. but pls note we will not assess your application until we receive your score which means not until the 15th of April, which would be quite late into the admission process.
thanks

It takes about 30-45 days from the date of application for you to hear from us. i suggest you apply a little later as the last date for applications is 30th April 2007.

Hello,
If you read my replies on this thread carefully, you will see that i have clearly mentioned that we do not look at section wise percentiles, we only look at the overall percentile. SO your XAT percentile is alright. You need not appear for the aptitude test.
thank you

Dear Rutty,

I will be taking the test on Sunday and have registered myself accordingly. However, I could not take a print out of the hall ticket as I do not have a printer in my house.

I would be grateful to you if you can tell me how to retrieve my hall ticket and take a print out of the same. Also, can anybody e-mail my hall ticket? I could then take a print out from any cyber cafe.

Looking forward to your reply.

Regards,
Dipankar

Dear Dipankar,
You may register again and take a print out of the new hall ticket.
thanks

Sorry, i meant cost of living after getting a job in dubai/singapore

The cost of living in Dubai would be approx 650 AED per month and 425 Sing Dollars in Singapore per month.
This is just an approximation for a comfortable standard of living and it may vary depending on the individual's lifestyle and habits.

Hi Rutty,

May I know when is the SP Jain Aptitude Test going to be held? I had checked that option in the Appliction form and hence would want to know when is the Test?

Sincerely
Rajesh

Again it varies depending on the individual's lifestyle and habits but approximately 3500 dirhams per month and a similar amount in Singapore.
