Dear Rini, Your score meets our cut off ,however it does not automatically mean that you will be shortlisted for the evaluations. the decision to shortlist you lies withthe Admissions Commitee, which will look at your overall profile and see whether you meet theses parametrs or not

Dear Rutty, I appeared for SPJAT on 30th September and have secured 81.09 percentile(which is not that good). Are there any chances of getting a call with this score??The email that I have received says my application will be updated automatically.I have applied for the Jan 2008 intake and have sent in the recommendation letters also.Is it possible to forward the same application for the June 2008 batch(with a better CAT/XAT/SPJAT score)?

I have 4+ yrs of exp in software industry. Worked in satyam and from the past one yr i am UK working for Wipro.
I have GMAT score of 620, Acads are pretty good, I got a BE degree with a distinction (70%).
What are my chances at SPjain Dubai/ Sing? More interested to know what kind of salary I will end up with after my MBA.
Dont worry so mcuh..you can retake the test - we havent fixed the date yet but it shoud be announced on our website in the coming week. Not a problem if you have already applied but you must subit your recos within 10-15 days of the application date irrespective of your test scores you just need to retake the test - you need not mention the same. your current score also need not be emailed as we have a record of the same. thanks

I took the 30th Sp test...not very happy with my score i want to retake the test to improve it...What could be the possible dates ?? and what procedure do i follow now i had already subbmitted my application before the test...Do i have reapply...i havent sent my reco letters yet...Do i send them now or wait till i take the next test...i had applied on 1st Oct..

Have you applied or do u have to still apply? in any case if you apply now mentioning your SPJAT scores then it does not necessarliy mean that we will shortlist for the 13/14 evlans (if we shortlist you that is) it would depend on the availability of places on those days as well. Yes once you receive your GMAT score pls do inform us abt the same and we will update your application and review the same. thanks

Secondly, my SPJAT scores are below avg, and im takin my GMAT in november 1st week, can i then ask them to change my scores and substitute the SPJAT scores il send now with the GMAT scores even after my applications sent?
Well achieving a high score is just one of the parameters that we look at. The Admissions Commitee looks at your overall profile and thn decides whether to shortlist you or not. There would be anotehr round of evaluations post the 13/14 oct one butwe havent yet fixed the dates for the same. you may rechek your status in 3-4 days time.

Hi Rutty; I gave my SPJAT on 30th Sept; and I have got my score now, as well as a call for interview on the 13-14th Oct. At the time of filling the online application form for GMBA Program, i didnt have any past score of CAT/XAT/GMAT/SPJAT; so I left the scores as blank.
My query is, that do I need to send this score which I have recieved to SPJain again; OR will it be considered automatically by the selection committee? Please reply at the earliest, as very less time is left for the certificates to be sent to SPJain

just another input, well I know its tough and you guys at SPJ are doing a good job, but this exam SPJAT should be made online.

Congrats for the call!! The size of the GD batch is somwhere around 9-10 while we had personal interviews and not group interviews!!!
Regarding the questions of essay as well as GD topics, I'll suggest you to go thru the posts after 1st & 2nd sept....You'll find the experiences of all the people out there....
