Is there any split/rough estimate(official/Past trends) for 60% allocated to WAT and PI?
I mean, something like 30-WAT and 30-PI.....something like this?

The WAT topic for today(07/03/2017) afternoon slot, Hyderabad, was-
"First job should be chosen by criteria of pay than profile."
PI- Asked a few questions about the application form filled. Also asked how to convert scores to percentile, CGPA to %.(Expected the formulae for both)
Then asked a few questions about my job.
Also asked- Why MBA? Answer in a single line. Which specialization would you choose? Have you read any books on the same?
No technical questions to me. Some people in my batch were asked technical questions related to ECE.
PI lasted for about 20 mins.

PI Hyderabad: 6th March: Few Interview questions: 1. What is your fav topic in mathematics ( Said Calculus ) 2. Write the basic fundamental expression/principle for limit 3. How do you express limit 4. when do we use limit? 5. What came 1st? Integration or differentiation? Who gave the concept of differentiations? Do you know Issac Newton 6. What is the cycle time of the assembly line you are working in? ( Said 7 days, which is what it is, coz unlike automobile industry is was aerostructure assembly. But it was insisted that it wasn't possible. ) 7. What is the standard deviation of your cycle time? 8. How many players are there in a football team? ( I said my hobby was playing football when asked about my hobby. It was made clear that they asked me a basic question on football, since I had failed to answer all the basic questions on mathematics.)
How much time will it take for the process to be finished for a 8:30 am slot? Worst case.
What is the duration and characters limit of the WAT process? Is GD also a part of process?
Is there any application form to be filled and has to be carried at tje time of WAT PI??
In case of experience letter missing is it possible that at the time of interviews will the salary slips work at the time of interviews.
I have already applied for it and will get it within 15 days but my interview is on 20th march.please suggest
Is it necessary to bring Work ex certi or salary slip at the time of interview?
Do we need to carry a SOP aswell for WAT/PI?

This is regarding extracurriculars. I had mentioned my internship details in the Internship/professional certification column of the forms. But I did not see any dedicated column in the form for extracurriculars. Hence, I did not fill any extracurriculars in the form. 1. Shall I mention in my resume instead? 2. Was there any space in the application form for extracurriculars, cannot find any?
PI Mumbai: 13th March: Few Interview questions: OBC with CAT-91.79, X-83.07, XII- 70 and grad -60 electrical engineer.. 1. What is bridge rectifier? (Couldn't answer) 2. What are eddy currents? (Partially correct but not accurate) Interviewer asked if he should change the topic and i said yes upon which he seemed unimpressed.. 3. How can you justify your low acads? (Could just give few points and i was cut short was not about to give proper justification and the interviewer had an impression that i am academically weak) 4. What do you work on in Accenture? (Told them about it) 5. Have you achieved something at work? (Told them about an incident where i triaged a server issue but they were not convinced) 6. What do you do other than your job? (Told them about it but was cut short again couldn't tell much) 7. Anything you want to ask? Asked two questions out of which the interviewer said that second one was an abstract question and no proper answer to it.. i also took feedback and was asked to improve my communication as i did fumble as i didn't know answers to the electrical engineering question and that dampened my confidence a little.. The interview lasted around 10 mins... What are my chances of converting?

Hi, having 2 years of work ex, is it necessary to revise all the concepts of engineering subjects or a few favourites would suffice? As I am still working and there's hardly any time left for the interview, would it be okay if I prepare one/two subjects from my btech, that which are still relevant in my work ex? Thnx

Greeted them with a smile.
P1: Do you remember anything from your engineering?
Me: I remember some basics.
P2: What did they teach you?
Me: Molecular Biology, Genetics, biochemistry.
P1: What do you do currently?
Me: Answered.
P1: What do you teach?
Me: Answered.
P2: Why did you shift to this sector? Didn't you have offers from other companies
Me: Yes I did. Answered the reasons for shift. My venture project in college to be particular.
P1: But your engineering was a waste.
Me: I answered how it is not a waste and how I still use it.
P2: Okay tell us why does a bicycle stay upright despite a heavy weight on top of it.
Me: I don't remember Ma'am but it has something to do with balancing centre of gravity.
P1: What are you hobbies?
Me: Answered
P2: Do you play any games?
Me: Not at present. But I was into PC gaming.
P2: Okay. Thank you.
Me: Greeted and Left with a smile.
Overall feelings: It was so quick that everyone outside was smiling out of surprise. :D 2-3 min rapidfire. Yaah toh definitely in, yaa fir I am not allowed even 500 metres close to the campus.
What is separate weightage of wat and pi ??
Hi everyone. Anyone from Mechanical Engineering can give a brief insight about the PI process. How much importance is given to Engineering technical questions? What are the subjects focused on? Do the panelists ask as per their wish or they ask the candidate to choose any topic? Thanks in advance.

Was it just me or the panel was a little rude and a little disinterested in taking the interview ? Not complaining . It might be the way they do things but just curious if i offended them or anything
