This thread i want to dedicate totally for the "One Year MBA at SPJAIN '06 Batch Admission".As not much is discussed about it in other Spjains Threads,Hence i have come up with this one.

Now, my queries regarding this subject is ...

When the results for this program will come.I mean since the batch will be started from jan 06, i hope the admission procedure should be over by at least 15 Dec.

As they are asking for the CAT 2004 percentile, wat abt people who have GMAT scores and no CAT score?

Hope..Somebody from SpJain would come up with answer.

Others also pour queries so that we can get a clear picture.

Hi,

I also wanted to apply for the one year program ,but the only thing which moved me back was the statement that the placement would be a joint effort of student and the insti,
Now that sounds a bit wierd ...
So I had to drop that option .
Moreove rthe one year program had everything condensed ,so i am not sure how much weightage wil it carry in case the applicant doesnot end up with a job.

So please let me know the prospects of this one year mba program.

hi , i am very much eager to apply for 1 yr program , since i have a 7 yrs of exp ,but i am in bit confusion whether shall i apply thro GMAT or S.Pjain own test ,can any body had clear idea @which score is beneficial ,i had not applied to ISB in first cycle because of this only ,if get in dec15 s.p jain result then accept it otherwise i will apply to ISB in next cycle i,e in jan,

They have not come up with any list till now on their website.

Dont recieved any mail also..
Donno..whether they are sending the mail to shortlisted people only or wat?

In their intimation mail, they have answered ur apprehension. The actual classroom part of the course is supposed to start only in april. web learning until apr.
But, lets first get in. 😃

is there anybody who has applied for 1 year 2007, i am one of them..
and i have applied for 2 yrs as well
one thing which i am bad about applying for both is that i am unable to fill for marketing which is got to be my current field..

hey, anybody from the first batch of SP jain 1 year please come forward to help us.
I too got call for test/interv. on 3 rd dec.
I think those who got call on 26 nov are only to face interview and those called on 3 rd dec, are to fate test+interview. is not it right??

Yes. That is right. Me too on the same boat. Int and test on 3rd-dec.

me too got a call for the 1 year course...asked me to come on 26th , have no idea as to what we have to undergo thr ..is it only an interview or some test as well...

is it that ppl who hve been called on 3rd dec hadnot appeared for CAT or GMAT...and they now hav to appear for the special spjain test??

guess if anybody who joined the course last year . could share his experience....it would be of great help..

Nope I am not referring to GMBA. What I am talking about is a 1 year PGDM program in SPJIMR Mumbai campus.

@icarus - The results for the 1 yr course can be expected around 20th of this month

but was told by admissions that the results (for 1 yr)will be out by this weekend.....
