im prep full time frm last 1 month !! though tried fr job intially 1-2 months but nothing good 
only sales available ,, worried in case of this gap that will b created !! already have one year after 12 ,,, what to do only good solution seems 2 b crack cat n get a call , else go 4 the job later after feb (if comes join) or hunt !! is my plan ok !!

Any work-ex after graduation is considered legitimate.
NSN is good brand name, stick to that get confirmed.
IT is just ubiquitous, as every one is working in IT.

My life is going through bit troubled phase rite now i hope somebody gives a good advice. I am 2007 engg(cse) passout.During my engg studies I got canadian Permanent card so my family left for Canada but i stayed in india till my engg and i was still in 3rd year so due to this Canadian thing i lost my interest in studies so only managed to get 60%(at least first division).
So after engg i came to Canada try to get job in IT but no positive results so ended up doing some survival jobs.
So rigth now I am working as sales consultant at a shop of telecom company since last 1. 7 months money is not so bad i can make upto $40000/year by this job but i hate my job very much talking to white rude people sometimes they sound like racist towards me.We sell phones and contracts so have to deal with lot of problems and white people really really rude people in the world .So actually this job has made me kind of racist towards white people(i know all r not same but...)
So i really want to quit this job and want to study MS or MBA
so MS or MBA that's one of major dilemma for which one should i go?
MBA from Canada or India? I feel like leaving Canada and come back to India but my family is here so very hard decision.
MBA from Canada is good but don't know about job prospects in Canada
after MBA because MBA is very expensive and Canada is not very large market as compared to US or India in terms of MBA jobs(white people are holding major positions here) so was thinking to come back to India and do MBA from here( in that case i have to forget Canada pr) then of course i have to prepare for CAT!
I am interested to do what I really like to do in life or love to do but problem is how can I find that? BECAUSE i really don't want to do just because everybody is doing it or Its MBA!! i am sure many guys must have gone through same dilemma and last thing

Get complete NRI status (as per Indian B-Schools), then appear for GMAT make it to IIM's, IIFT etc, its easiest way to make it to good Indian B-Schools.

I am a working professional with 27 months of experience (and counting). I appeared for CAT last year (first attempt) and got a 91%ile. This time I have been preparing..., well I would say better than last year. I have such frequent sine wave sentiments, that really confuse me. One moment I feel that I can do it, and the next it feels its not my cup of tea. Really really bugging.

i am a computer sc. engineer .
My profile:-
1)Very good in number crunching.
2)Analytical mind.
3)Can work in teams....maybe even lead if necessary.
4)Love traveling
5)Can talk with strangers....but i dont think i can convince people easily.
6)Love stability in life.
7) 8.3 Total GPA...
7)Scored more than 80% in Xth and XIIth.
Loved subjects like Operations Research & Financial Accounting and Mathematics(had them in B.Tech)
Few questions:
1)Which specialisation should i go for?Which one suits my profile?
2)Do Engineers find MBA Finance difficult to handle ?
3)Whats the effect of recesssion on MBA Finance students and their placements?

But, i have 100% confidence in me that I would do well and have a gr8888888888 zeal in cracking the CAT...and this is my 1st attempt.....just abt 2 months away from CAT, will it be a gud choice of quitting my job and prepare for next 2 months and join a company as soon as i write my CAT - Dec 05th. (100% confident/Talented of getting an IT job - tested this by attending few interviews in the recent past)
I'm really in a huge dilemma of JOB - CAT. Could anyone plz provide me a reasonable suggestion????plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........

i believe that i will be able to get through in cat this year.. last year i gave cat and managed to clear quant cut off and missed slightly in va, my di was the hitch.. this time i'm planning to leave no set untouched..

OK. So have u worked on DI this year? More than u did last year? And without compromising on other sets...?
Moreover, have u joined any test series/classroom course? If not, I would suggest do so straight away... U might get 10-15 tests. They will help u judge ur preparation.

Being a working individual I have had these thoughts day in and day out. However, what I have learnt is "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JOB". Cling on to it. Plan ur time in such a way that u r able to sufficient time for CAT as well. Being in the industry for so long will definitely serve as an advantage in ur analytical skills.
Moreover, u can utilize the extra time in office (the time we usually spend chit-chatting, and playing games) to read PG.com and do some questions.
If u really have the will that u have portrayed via ur words, believe half the work is done... 😃

This is my first post on this forum. I have 5 years experience in IT services from one of the top most companies in India. Currently I am in the first year of MBA from IIFT Delhi. Its a 2 year course.
I wanted to know, whether an MBA from an Indian Bschool would be an apt choice for me, or is it better to do a one year course from a foreign university. Need a general opinion on this.
Another question is whether going back to IT would be benificial? As I already have five years of experience, getting back to a project manager role in delivery wouldnt be very difficult even without an MBA. Wanted to know how an MBA would help in this sense?

I have a weiird degree with me... as in ours was a integrated course with BE and MBA. and currently its the final year in which i m interning at Fullerton India. Now the problem with my life is
1. should i go for amother MBA from IIMs coz BITS-Pilani Engg is renowned but not MBA.
2. Also, Placementsd for MBA at college can be called almost nill and i personally dont want to continue working here as a permanent employee.
so what should i do...??? i know its pretty late for preparing for CAT09 but i juss realized thtt my life is a mess right now..
