Why CBS? Generally this is the kind of question that anyone would ask before applying to any college. As I am a student of CBS the following points come to my mind.
1. Learning for the real world. Not just mugging up theory and vomiting on the answer paper. But one might ask whats to unique in this? Every other college offers internship or field visits where we get to learn about the practical aspects. True, but in CBS one learns the concepts itself in the real world. For example, learning about binomial distribution by weighing candy! Sounds interesting, is'nt it?
2.Faculty. It is a well known fact that the a good faculty is one of the greatest assets of any college. In CBS, we have renowned faculty from IIM's and industry experts teaching us their learning and sharing their experiences. So again its more of a real world exposure that we get sitting in a class room.
After completing this course one is equipped with knowledge and skills to take on the big bad world be it in corporate or your venture!
