Anybody from FMS here?
Hi Friends,
I am very eager to know about Fellowship Program in Management. I already have an Construction Management degree from NICMAR.
I want to know about FPM in ISB and XLRI.
1) What will be my future if I pursue FPM?
2) Are any of these colleges provide placements after FPM?
3) What is the qualifying exam for FPM?

Hi Puys..
I have completed my MBA from tier-I institute and working in MNC. I want to join PhD/FPM programn in 2014, but i have not written any qualifying exam like CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET.
Are there any good institutes which consider people without these tests or take their own tests?
Please suggest ...
After having wasted almost 6 months trying to decide what i want to do with my life i finally have found interest in doing an fpm/phd from a good university or business school.
I just need a couple of questions answered before i can decide it for myself if i really stand a chance at making through..
Firstly i am a 2013 pass out with a meagre 62% for an aggregate and had a healthy number of backlogs (lack of interest in the chosen field) in my graduation ,i guess that rules out the academic rigour that the iims are looking for.
Last year i had a 97 percentile in CAT and did not apply for any of the fpm programmes and i am expecting a better score this year.
having said the above things i just wanted to say that i can be studious if interested and also have a very keen aptitude for research but i guess i wont be able to convince them about that.
So finally, Do i stand any kind of chance at an admit?
Any answer is appreciated but a straight forward answer is expected.
TIA!
Can any please suggest good journals in public policy @sb29
Hi Guys,
I want to join FPM in public policy management in IIM A/B or in HR in IIM A/B/L.
My profile is X-67%, XII-69%, B.Tech(private college, UPTU)-67%,
Work Experience - 7 years, working in department of atomic energy as scientist, but my job responsibilities are mainly related with operation and maintenance. I had published few paper in departmental conference related to small developmental work that I did in initial year of my job.
I want to join FPM as I have good interest in reading, teaching and social work.
How do you rate my profile for admission in FPM?
I have decided to take GMAT as entrance exam.
What approximate GMAT score I require for admission in above mentioned FPM programmes?

All FPM courses in IIMs look at the complete profile and not only at scores. So it is difficult to tell you about a score that is ideal. Chances of getting in is again very subjective and the less speculated the better. But if you have interest in academia you should try.
Is there any recommendation of Profs required for XLRI FPM?
Hello puys ,
I want to know about IIM - B selection process at two areas Quant & Finance for the last year . My question would be --
1) How many applicants applied for these two areas , no. of applicants invited for RAT & interview & later , how many of them got call letters finally?
While going through one of the last year thread , I found that no. of invited applicants in all category for RAT & interview was 203 , in which eco area saw maximum no. of applications . Here I request fellow people at IIM - B to shed some light on the statistics part as mentioned in the above question.
ThankYou!
hello sir/ mam
my academia profile is X-75 %, XII - 62 %, graduation - 60%, mba - 62 %, UGC NET JRF -2013 qualified. 10 months teaching exp..
i hve some queries regarding FPM
1. wht is the difference between FPM and PHD ?
2. wht type of questions are asked during interviews.? my option are mktng, OB,HR,strategy for fpm/ phd.
Is there any recommendation of Profs required for XLRI FPM?
I wish you should not opt for XLRI....cause program is yet to be recognised and if you have ever aspired to do a course from a premier HR institute it is better to pursue their flagship HR PGP program than FPM....(Ex-FPM Student) * You may refer mt earlier mails in this regard....
