Is it necessary to have admission letter for paying First Installement
If you cancel your admission before course commencement 1000 bucks will be withheld and rest everything will be refunded. u will lose only 1000. but in case u cancel after the course commencement which is around june-july then there are certain rules of refund mentioned in the brochure.

Dude seniors on this thread have said that you can send the DD by post. But i would advise you to deposit it personally. after all its a matter of 1.2 lakhs!
also last date of payment is 31st march. relax and wait for the admission letter.otherwise you always have the snap admit card & snap id, along with the pdf of the 'final list' available on sims homepage. these two should be enough to prove ur identity.

Admission letters hav not been recieved yet !!!! Wen will they be dispatched???
Shud we wait for the adm letters or kindly let us know the complete details of payin the installment WITHOUT the admission letter.
hey seniors can u please tell us the details about the hostel facilities, as to how many ppl share a room, n wats da procedure.. if we know sum1 already can we get to share a room with them or is it on random basis or first cum first serve basis..
n most importantly are they sending us a letter telling us about the details of the laptops available at nominal rates , n what configuration computers are they giving at nominal rates??
if they aren't gud enuf do u guys suggest buying one from outside???

some rooms have sharing of three and some have sharing of four..

I am not sure what the delay is all about since they r required for applyin for edu loans..the entire process getting delayed..seniors if you could please pitch in and tell us about the status..

people in delhi have all received the letters i suppose and ya even i received in indore at my permanent address today and the letter is dated 3rd march so i wonder y the delay in posting but the good thing is all those who have not received can now be releived as am sure the letters would reach all of them in a coupla days at the max....!!
