Not only defense category, 10% seats are industry sponsored. No general category. You can get a call from sims at this score in industry sponsored category.

There are chances that you get a call from SIMS. Hope for the best. You can also look for SIMC, SIG, SICSR.

as compared to last year the cutoff was around 50.so dis year it might be 40 to 45.u r on the deadline.so fill up the form...anywayzzzz best of luck.....

Yes you can get a call from SIMS. Last year cut-off was around 50 and it is expected to fall to around 45.

there are certain guidelines for industry to sponser a candidate-:
1 company should be limited.
2 company shoud have a turnover of 30-40 crores in 2007-08.
3 company should come for placements at SIMS for 2 years.
i don't think your family business is fulfilling the above mentioned conditions.:sad:

No. Industry sponsored means that the company has sponsored you and it will appoint you once you complete the MBA from the institute.
