Dont worry Kiran, You will get a call.. I suggest you prepare for GD/PI now.

I'm super duper worried regarding the gd n pi's of sims.
is it very difficult to get thru it...???

THe GD/PI process is fairly simple. You will have a group task. and then two personal interviews. One is a stress interview, in which they check your stress level and the other is a normal PI. Both are quite simple. Be well read in the current news, recessions etc.

the industry sponsorship student has to pay fees on his own. His fees is a little higher(please check for the fees on SYMBIOSIS SIMS - Home) an industry sponsor student has to get a certificate that he is sponsored by a particular company. He has to show a balance sheet of the company, which has to be greater than a fixed amount.(25 crore).

Rest of the things is the same for all student managers. they all can sit for the placement. nothing else differentiates them from the open defence.

you have gud chances of getting call..last yr the cutoff was sumwhere arnd 45 .. prepare well for GDPI

I am not having a defence background or not related to a defence family.
I would like to pursue MBA from SIMS through management category.

Can some one let me know if Management sponsored candidates are allowed to attend campus placement?

And is there any difference between management sponsored candidate and normal defence category except the fees?

I am looking for admission in SIMS. Just wanted to know about the placement in SIMS. Is it 100% placement every year? How is the average pay package? I am having 2 years experience with leading IT company so is there separate facility for Lateral Placements?

2009 batch is facing the problem of placements.Also, the summer placements of 2010 batch is a great worry. Plz confirm everything once u come for GD/PI...

SIMS has only defense personnel and industry sponsored seats.

The expected cut-off for SIMS is 45 marks.

Average Salary : Rs. 7.04 Lacs pa
