Hi,
I have heard that we cannot choose our area of specialisation for the second year. We have to take some written test and they allot us our specialisation area. Is it true? And how many seats are available for finance? Can anyone please elaborate the structure of the test and the entire procedure?

i jus spoke to SIMS, when asked abt ppt they said if we have made it then get it...otherwise dont bother......

does ne1 no how much was the cut offs this time?? n the rankin satinder gave was according to the first list of the successful candidates thy showed and i dnt think thats the rankings cz in that list the students are arranged according to their snap ids not the snap scores. n wats the gd/pi process of sims like? i mean wat r the various phases?

Do we like get a situation and then have to study it and provide a solution and conclusion on it one by one? or in a group? or what? what topics can we expect for GD or what TYPE of topics are chosen mostly?
What all basic questions do they ask in PI and whats the difference in the first and second session? what should be the answer portray for a non worex guy.
If incase there has been a gap in education will they be asking questions on it? how should it be tackled?

hey me done with my gds and pi yesterday ...............not tough at all .........at least i didn't find em grilling or anythin .........just relax and be confident and up to date they'r not askin for any prsntation
