i have been short listed for the gd pi sessions but m really worried since my acads arent too great!I secured 73%in ssc,62 in hsc n 58% in BE(Comp)from pune univ but got year drops due to unavoidable circumstances.have 8 months work ex but in a different field than my specialization!that too not typically a full time job!!so i m sure that wouldnt even count!!What are my chances of being selected?in the pi session do they ask you questions related to ur subjects in graduation as well?PLzzzzzz reply....also i'd like to know sims intake for d 09-11 batch.

hey the 5 min ppt would be given during the pi or wat? i mean does it have a separate slot or what?
wel dont think abt ur profile too much as nothing can b done now... but ya very gud performance in gd/pi process wud fetch u a call easily... so try ur best and believe m u can do it just give ur 100% effort... total intake is 300.... regards

Can you tell us whether an official call letter or mail has been sent to anyone . What do we need to carry to the GD/PI . Can you please put up some official announcement regarding the process of GD-PI . What are the necessary docs etc . This is the basic required from any B-school .

hey...no official announcements ve been made with regard to the gd pi call!the list available on the web site is the only proof of your call.and i guess u need to take a print out of the page on which ur name appears wen u go for the interview....n ya...TO ALL THE ASPIRANTS.....CHECK IN UR SNAP ID'S COZ THERE R A LOT OF DISCREPANCIES...call the sims office (02030213200)if u have such n issue!!regards

guys i was reading this thread and a number of times i came across the term "ppt". as i understood it , it meant that we would be shown a presentation about sims while we are there for our interviews .
but in a few posts people have said that they were not even asked to make the ppt that they had prepared.
that left me totally confused. do we have to prepare a ppt also ??

I have been shortlisted for SIMS.
I had 61.25 marks in snap, 87.4 in x, 84 in xii, 72 in b.tech .And have a 1.5 yr exp in a an MNC.
Can anyone tell me how good a chance i have in converting.
Also plese suggest me what the case studies is all about? are we going to have a case study or GD this year.

I checked the website . There its written that we need to make a PPT on ourselves . I guess who does the best marketing on himself .

i suppose this is not a time to think which inst is better, just go & give ur best shot in gdpi's and once u convert both the calls then u can carryout the survey and chose one...for now just const on GD/PI. goodluck

how are we gonna amke a 10 MINUTE presentation on ourselves ???
