well if you have an engineering background and wanna go in for the specialisations in Telecommuncations then SITM shud be the thing for you
otherwise sims .well i think its you who has to decide most importantly as you are going to invest you next 2 years and money in it .think logical , i msure u will get a solution for this . and lsat not hte least talk to director at any of the insistitutes to reschdule the gd pi for one of them .

thanx for da gyaan! yup i am an enggr....m inclined towards operations...but somehow after visiting both campuses,sitm and sims, i liked sims better. the overall feel was better. of course thats not reason enough to join a b-school. the ppl i have spoken to have sed the avg placements of sims is higher than sitm. but i dunno if these are in the operations side. the dates unfortunately cannot be changed, iv tried speaking to evryone.....as of the moment they are both too close to call! letsee, i'll just wake up on the morning of 11th and go to whichever college i feel like!

apologies for delay in joining back here.....have been a bit busy after GD/PI n out of town..... well mine was on 4th in Delhi......all i can say is it went well......every thing depends on the 1st of march.....ATB to one and all......
it was queer though everyone comin out of the 2 interviews said theirs went quite well!!! i mean the interview panel has a tough job to do then....so it seems....
anyways i think someone mentioned about ICFAI on 19th....count me in......pm

Well Digi, thanks dude that u posted in ur feelings of anxiety cause now I know that I'm completely normal.....I have been doing exactly the same thing ever since my interviews as well......like you said analysing and re analysing....i even dream about it....and I subconsiously the interviews just keep going thru my mind....sometimes i feel i did ok and some other times i feel that i might have made a blunder.....sometimes i feel that i shld make it ....some other times feel that things might just go wrong..........and ya 1st really seems so far away right now......

i also feel there is always some distance between the cup and the lip and u get whatever u are bound to get in life .
well the wait will the over in few days from now .its a test of patience so we need to chill off at this juncture

Missed this thread as my net was down for last two days.
I am really anxious right now coz we really dont know wats in store for us on 11th and 12th at SIMS.
Buts lets hope that every thing goes well and we all sail through these rounds and make it to SIMS so that we can form a pagalguy grp at SIMS it self.
Anyways good to see so many new entrants and we should all thank a.sharma for starting this thread and today it has grown to 20 pages
Also we need to congrats raghav for scoring 99.96% at XAT also tanvi for 99%+.

Hey Congrats Tanvi......that really is an amazing score and that too in a paper like XAT which I beleive in terms of difficulty is much higher than CAT....thats a brialliant effort I must say....my heratiest congratulations to you..........now you have an amazing oppurtunity to nail the top instt under XAT so go for it...all the best
Here I would like to bring to your notice the fact that RAGHAV also has secured a 99%ile+ in XAT.....dude correct me if i am wrong...but thats wat i recollect u telling me the other day...........so congrats and all the best to you too...........

Tell me one thing do we only have to wear cotton sarees.
The prob is the saree which I am planning to wear is not cotton but the material is a lil bit glazy but its very subtle.....no no no its not jhang pang or or bhadkila nothing of that sort.
God knows what material it is , its like silk or rather it is silk.
I am really serious & I am confused.There is no one at home even to guide me.
Plz help

well what i'l;l say if you think you look good in that saree then WEAR IT ...thats the point wear anything which suits you..i mean in which you look proffessional enough..not a big problem and nobody mentioned abt cotton sarees and me not a gr8 expert on cloth material..but jus gut feeling wear it....don't forget to wear the SMILE thats more important..

sorry for not posting my experience of gds as i was busy. any ways i had my gd on 5th feb & yes every thing was same as we expected but here comes the catch

we were given a topic to discuss though i dont remember every thing but there were few qualities given & we were suppose to relate it to managerial leadership & good decision making. Though it didnt cause much of problem as most of my batchmates were clueless but definetly a big surprise.
so guys those of you who who have their gd & pi left be prepared for everything. Apart from that i did not face much problem & yeah congrax to both Tanvi & Raghav for your Xat result. Its great to hear that.
