Happy Womens Day .this goes for the female peers ,seniors and others who make a great deal of difference in everyone's lives in various roles of Mother ,Sister and Wife etc.
Well the seniors confirmed that letter was dispatched on 2nd march .going by that the letter shud be hands within a day or two,hope this happens sooner .
@Seniors ,i was going the previous years thread of SIMS and got aware of some material (call it books ) given to each of the student for reading and analysing & on that basis there was some tests in SIMS .any light on this issue ?

on the sims site they hve put up that the batch 2006-2008 would b starting frm 1st/2nd july....& I was thinking that its starting frm june....wasn't june mentioned in the prospectus any wayz 3 & a half mnths wait now...hmmmmmmmmmmm 😞
well frgt to add that I got the prospectus twice.once when I went personally to submit the form ..........& the second time they send it via post & that was 2 days b4 the gd

I was wondering if after telling that some are not selected, will they be called again. Since this is highly unlikely, I wondered what would be done. I had asked some of the seniors to comment in post 660 and only got reply in 661 and 663 to wait. Seniors, I just need one reply to this waitlist issue or atleast confirming if what a.sharma16 has told is right. I do not want to know or talk about the orientation program though I may have some idea of how it will be. If some seniors would kindly give some indication of the waiting list, it would be very helpful for those who are under the waitlist. (As a future manager, we must try to get as much information before starting on the next step 😉 ) And one more request now, if anyone has got the letter for admission, please type in the synopsis of it so that I will know if there is any other date apart from March 30 for people to tell that they are not interested in joining this college. Then I can be prepared for the payment, etc by that date. Hope I have not hurt anyone's sentiments and hope my questions seem to be sensible. No offence meant.

They have mentioned that Sims is shortly likely to get approval frm AICTE & they r planning to change the course title frm PGDM to Masters Degree.
Ladies can wear Sarees or Trouser suit in dark colours for formal functions.
Now isn't that reason to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally my wait is over bcoz i got my call letter today........i am really happy as well as wondering too tht staying in mumbaiiiiiii its takes 5 days then i wonder wat will happn to ppl staying in banglore or delhi...reading the call lettere iahve many doubts and iam sure tht our seniors will once again will help us once again....
1. i would like to know more about this induction programme nd wat study material are they talking about for which we have to prepare.........
2.now the 6th sentence of the call letter says tht AICTE for SIMS is likely to be completed shortly...the corse title is planned to be changed from PGDM to masters degree.....so wats this all about??????
3.now date of arrival is 2nd july so wat is 16th june all about???n which colour saree one is supposed to wear is it any colour...
iam wondering tht if there is so much delay in recieving the call letter wen will one apply for the loan.......

I too got the letter finally...the date on it says 6th Mrach so now know what took all the delay.....
anyways @deeya84.....u say that the date of arrival mentioned in your letter is 2nd july...however mine says 1st july..12:00pm........so have we been alloted different reporting dates.....people please confirm.....
@Brainiac.....well watever other info that i have got is that the waitlist is avery small one...has just 20 names on it.....if seats are left even after that then students are intimated individually.....and that always happens.....cz in an intake of 240 students there are atleast 10% dropouts...that takes the nbr to 24....thats the minimum....so anyways if ur name appears on the waitlist all u need to do is wait and u will surely get through......
Again though would like seniors ....ppple within the inside commenting on it........

Date of Reporting for batch 2006-08 : 1st/2nd July 2006
SIMS approved by State Bank of India under "SBI SCHOLAR EDUCATION LOANS" SCHEME.
So do remember to send in a confirmation E-mail to SIMS...and guess that half people are called on the 1st and the rest on the 2nd July...happens to be a weekend though.......

so the good news is tht most of the ppl have recieved their cal letter n others dnt worry iam sure u guyzzz will be recieving urs by tomm or day after toommm...........so chillllaaaxxxxx........................but the next confusion is the dates why sooo yaa.....welll it dint made any sense to me atleast..............it would have been fun meeting everybody together...allll i mean hannah,nitin,raghav...........i mean everybody...................plzzzzzz ppl post ur dates of joining...............and wat ru guyzz plang to do in these 3 or 4 monthsss....................i feel tht post is quite going boring common guysssss making it live.................n exciting n their are lots of complain from a person tht ppl are not posting messages on the yahoo site made for us common guysssssss...........dnt laze around n do post around about urself............many are intrested in knowing u ppl..............
