Delhi pple who interested in Rock Gigs happening here shld check out Turquoise Cottage....There are really awesome rock shows happenig there every sat nite or so....... About artistes guys i believe there will be some or other group we dont knw coz there are so many belonging to diff genres in metal itself like metal, punk, alternative, death etc. So i am anxious to get introduced to mannnnny more..... Some bands i like to listen to......Skid Row, AC DC, Judas Priest, Kiss, Dream theatre, pantera, sepultura, and list is tooo long guys...... About indian rock scene dude u got me here...abs man..... i am biggg fan of PDV....they had come to perform for GIR 2005 and met up Pradeep (lead vocalist) he's cute btw 😉 and Dreamtheatres John Muyong(Bassist) was thr too......they performed Maiden no. and it was a DREAM performance with Parikrama....... I like Cyanide, Menwhopause, Asian Heat and Acrid Semblence too.......by the way No Idea who won GIR 05 sucked big time methinks and was thr to boo them.... Was thr for IITs blitzkrieg too and the Medusa band was awesomeeeeeeeeeee....

The ROCK N ROLL era....That must have been some time...Like Manu said,wish I was born then..... btw Manu when it come sto No idea ar GIR 2005, I share the same feelings...They weren't that bad but they weren't that good either..and I too really couldn't actually believe that they won.... And I am glad that you mentioned Menwhopause....cz i had just completely forgotten abt them....Last month I had attened their gig at Turquosie Cottage here in Delhi and they really rocked....Everyone one just lost it there completely.......had a gr8 time...... Alrite now that we know who are into Rock.....let me find out who all are into F1...I knw a few people....Sakshi,Raghav,Amal....... What about the rest...??? Just to give you all an insight I am a true Ferrari and M.Schumacher fan....So you can only imagine my pleasure after Schumi won the San Marino GP at IMOLA on Sunday....Though I really must say that it was truly a pleasure to watch one of the gr8 race in the recent past with the two best drivers battling it out for the nbr 1 spot namely Schumi and Alonso......If any of you missed it then jst look up into the TV timings and watch the repeat telecast cz it was one race thts gonna be remembered for quite some time now.... It was sheer brilliance on the race track by both the drivers...... It was really a slap on the face for people who said that Schumi's time is over and he better think abt retirement...... btw one driver to look out for in the near future is Roseberg..... aww....the lights jst went out so even though I would have loved to write a lot more guess i shld stop b4 the UPS goes off....... till next time.....its goodbye from me..... cheers Akshay

Hmm...Sahil you are lucky? Well I would say since you had double posted, it is more of sending mails just to reach the 1000 mark . Anyways I am posting first after the 1000th post. And I can see many are into Rock music, Football, Basketball, etc. Don't forget these interests once you join SIMS. It will be hectic for all of us, but it is these interests that keep us with something to smile. And do you have to start on studies before they give us the material??? I am just enjoying my hols and will start studying etc. when they tell us to . Come on, I am sure I will not get these holidays again in my life :). I am going to make sure I enjoy it to the max before I start on WORK. Hmm...I am not sure which is more difficult for me, work or studies...But since I am going to start studying now, I guess I will vote studies to be more difficult for me . I cannot say anything about rock music coz I have it on my comp and have listened to it but honestly, could not find anything to enjoy in it. Well that is me. Waiting for SIMS to start to meet all of you guys. That's all for now. Will post again when I feel like it. Varghese
