thanks for all the info ...........right then abt me .......2003 Engg pass out...Mechanical......Working in a Japanese MNC at Bangalore as Corporate Sales Engineer......3 years work ex.......Dad's retired Army Colonel......hobbies are cooking ...ROCK music..Old ..industrial..alternative..not death metal!!!!and love to play FPS games.Mate am just worried about the lateral placement stuff cause the figures put up on the SIMS web site are a little :wow:...sure when you compare it with the likes of SIBM and SCMHRD.....so kindly help in this reg..atleast data like MEAN , MEDIAN and MAX.....PM me if poss.......would be of great help.i guess u know that......
and one more thing did i see a 1 am + post .when do you guys sleep at sims.......saab ke saab "OOLUO" hain kaya??

heeee sleep dude thats one thing we don't do...well 1st semm forget it atleast for first 40 days telling you abt my own experience i did a 52 hr stint .. if you get to sleep for 3-4 hrs then thats your lucky day..abhi its ok we get to sleep..chal abhi busy wid a live proj so will try comming online sometime later regards

last year the site was so much congested k we were onli able to see the results in the evening..that thru a proxy site provided on pagalguy..snap site to went down..don't worry the best torture would be to wait for shortlists for gd pi..not only sims but sibm also..hehehe....they'll drive you nuts and then you give gd pi..then you wait for the final shortlist so don't worry lot of pain still to be beared..hehehe
..you no what u'll see people going bonkers on pg and there will be rumors...something like your query abt cold response(this year more number of forms were sought ) there can be umpteen number of reasons..as XAT is schd for this sunday candidates mite being given some more time to think abt if they want to fill up or not..getting the point na..me not saying don't speculate or voice ur views do it ...its good..pata hai hota ka hai..when you come online you think moi alone with all the wueries in the world but when you see like minded people talking abt the same issues then you come to know you normal..lol...and you get a lot of something called psycological support which is very neccesary at this point caz..THE PAIN.. enjoy...vaisae what kinda score you expecting in snap and what other symbi insstii you applied for or thinking of applying to.Regards

y scaring yaar it'll be a regular thingi for you right from the time you land up here..
..81 hmm sibm was out but yu stood achance for scmhrd chal thats history now atb for today..i'll be online today..mera sibm reh gaya tha last time 2 reasons ek to snap score was scraped from their total and i had no wrk ex so lost out on 20(or ws it 10) marks straight got an overall 95 in sibm final list it was a heart break seriously...but now im happy what else one wants yaar first a brand name then a summers then some live projs then a good placements..well symbi rocks was among the first 7 one to get summers in my batch doing my 2nd live proj..agae allahh rakha hai...vaisae bade budhae sahi kehte hain jo hota hai acha hota hai..psstt ajj dekhna kitnae rumors failte hain people will go haywire after snap results..total masti hehehehe... i know i mite be sounding wicked but what the heck we also went thru the same thing..so it happens so i'll be there today ..rest fine .. keep ur nerves and pehle bata dun sims ki cutoff kitni hogi no one knows so don't ask..caz even 90+ scoring students were rejected last year..cazz it takes more than scores to be here..our proces is totally different from other b schools so take care and enjoy...Regards
