wit a score of 57...can i get a call from sims????
major shock wit my results....but i am still hoping for SIMS...got a measley 37.75 this time ws expectin 58 wud anybody plzzz tell me whether i have a chance of getting a call?? i am very very worried. i have finished graduation this year,have one professional certificate,good extra currics and academics throughout but this time i got screwed...seniors plz help!!

last year cut off ws around 45 in a 200 marks paper this time around it wud b definitely be on a lower side...n u have a healthy co's so be confident n prepare well...best of luck

if 45 was out of 200....i think 57 out of 180 dsnt make me lose.....now plz help abt gd and pi....1 feb is too close...will i able to adjust my date of gd and pi incase i ahve some more in delhi on the same date?
are there case studies too?? and what about gds....what are the topics like and what all do the panels consider....2 pi s means a lot of grilling...can u plz throw some light on how exactly do they grill u???

hey shreya .... cant say wat wil happen.... if ur acads is extremely gud.... and wat other people have got out of snap.. who have applied to college....very less possibility..... start luking for other options...... lets c wat happens

they did change dates for some people last year but then this time GDPI is gonna be on campus for everyone.... they might it again but very less possibility of u reachin pune except air options ..... till last time there was a case study followed by a GD ... this time it may be a group activity or exercise.... followed by 2 PI wid different panels.... panel wil be formed by people frm corporate world.... u will be grilled on nything u have written on ur CV SOP workex or academic.... gk etc

Good going there, congrats
the case topics differ everytime and from within gd/pi batches
my advice to you will be, just keep up with the latest news and practice on a few topics. The pi's are conducted by industry people so they can grill you on anything but usuaally its what you write in your sop and what you project in front of them. Just be sure that you are thorough with your knowledge.

my snap score is 33.75 i expected 50+.really felt bad.trying to cope with this disaster.i only applied to SIMS pune.
Xth = 83.3%
XIIth = 72.1%
engg = 65%
participated in many b-plan competetions.also cleraed first round of MEGABUCKS - 07 b-plan competetion conducted by IIT kanpur.
received an offer letter to work as summer associate with a group that has directly worked under noble laureate prof.mohd younous.(attached this letter in app form)
what chance do i stand for sims.

u have got very good overall academic record but there is very less chance of u getting a call for GDPI... wud suggest start preparing keep ur fingers crossed n luk out for other options.... dnt think abt only sims.....

on orkut SIMS people r telling that 45 was the cut off last year/..
and people with 45-50 scores have even converted to final calls...
so there is lot to hope ....as this time paper was out of 180 n not 200...
