now guys wid good gd/pi converted the call even at low score...
getting a call n converting it r completely a different set of issue...
bt a gud score wont hurt u in ne way...
n going by d scores posted in pg/orkut 1 thing is fr sure dat cut- off will not be more than last year....
so prepare fr d next rounds n best of luck!!!

Hey i got 77 too. Will that get me a call from SIMS?? reading this thread i got to know that last year's cutoff was 45!!!! 45, isn't that a bit low!!! i mean....is SIMS a good institute or an average one? Please can anyone give me a real picture of how good an institute is SIMS.ALso if anyone can throw some light about the selection procedure of SIMS, that'll be of great help. I mean how many rounds do they have and neone with an idea as to how much weightage does each round have?? PLzzzz........
well people i got a score of 78.5..was hopin to touch 88-90..anywayz...i know people in my bracket will get a call for sure from sims..but what i want to ask is as to how much wieghtage is give by sims to ur snap score and gd/pi..according to some seniors in sims..clearing the gd/pi is not that hard...but yaar what is the honest opinion of the people out here?? coz SIMS is supposed to be a good college...
Moreover,, do ur acads have a significant wieghtage or are they jus used for elims..?

there are numbers for ur acads in all symbi colleges.... but dont its nt a big number .... people performing in GD and a PI can actually garenteee ur sucess.... even i have very bad acads..... worst than all of u i m sure.... bt i m in SIMS..... so dont worry.... u will be judged on each and every u do on dat day.....

Raveesh bhai, mera naam bhi "Ravish" hai. Good to know that you are studying at sims. Could you please throw some light on the selection procedure.....in detail. What was the first round's experience like, then the second and finally wat kind of questions were asked in the pi round...(i've heard there are two pi rounds.....) please enlighten all of us..

dude da GD/PIs are very manageable, n wid dis scor i shud not b a problem,
n its a gud insti, da salaries took a jump dis yr, i know pl who are B.Com freshers n have gotten packages of 7 lakhs n 9 lakhs 4 engg ppl. average arnd 7 which is amazing..

hi dude the salaries ur quoting are quite good but it wud be really great if u cud give a break-up of specializations who got these offers...coz dats wat we would be lukin at once the gd pi ka bhoot is gone !!

Candidates for admission for batch of 2008-10 will be shortlisted for personality assessment based on their performance in SNAP 2007 test, including sectional marks.
Now this doesn't sound good! At least for me!!........:(
