@96321 incase of any serious medical problem , u will b not covered under medical assistance provided by bank if anythng happens to u (related to that disease )...bt even ths s an extreme case n its very rare ...so b calm medicals r just a time pass :)

guys i am confused about rbi promotion aspects.. many people are telling that after three years there is a chance for grade A officer but others are saying that there is a long time required to be promoted. so anyone please come up with a credible info about the promotional aspects of assistant. It wil help us take an informed decision.

What would you prefer...Assistant in RBI or Bank PO?
i will prefer assistant. BUT my major concern is prmotion. everyone is saying that assistant is good as it will give you time to prepare for other exams but we must also consider the fact that we dont make it to any other job and have t osaty in rbi only so in that case promotio nof course will become a crutial issue. i have also qualified in IBPS PO and am currently working in BOB as clerk

Buddy do you think that Promotion aspect is very bright for PO?
No doubt we all know that there are departmental exam in every banks for promotion..so similar would be the case of RBI...
Please buddy dont mind what i am going to say but what are you asking is very absurd question....
I mean you compare your future-Working as PO in Bank..after promotion your can be posted in any remote areas of whole India...in that case either you will refuse of you will join...
In RBI-no matter how much time it takes... be it 3 or 5 years or more. of what you are sure is a Metro City posting plus officer perks which RBI gives to its employees...

its mentioned in the advertisement. salary is around 22k, but after cutting your PF you will get around 20k in hand.

as you are working in a bank, you must know what is exact profile of bank PO.
please tell about the work profile, pressure and promotion chances for a bank PO.
@trvg well i talked to AGM of rbi He said training will happen at the earliest. So only November is possible, Oct is passing away. Training will be of 1-2 week, he also said this.
@vipul_pawar na na 30k is not possible. In the advertising it was written 2 lakh 64 thousands per year (excluding housing ) so if we divide this salary by 12, we get 22k per month and this is excluding housing.
