I also called RBISB today and As most people already know , they said same thing , There is case issue which is causing delay in results. Next date of hearing is in Jan 2019 and the result is subject to court decision, He said.
He further added they are seeking for legal opinion so that there can be interviews held now till hearing in Jan. So result he said can be declared in 15-20 days and that is also not sure. SO better to focus on Interview whenever it may come, He further added.
I guess they will move to court and ask to declare the result and say that they will keep on hold the final result subject to court decision. In meanwhile they can conduct interviews as it is part of process and it must go on.
Well there is also option on part of those candidates who think they have chance can also move court and say that there is no substance in this case and take date nearest or ask the court to let the process run. There are so ifs and buts and this may go on and on.... Suggestions are welcome.

aur ye bc september se direct jan ka hearing kyu ?? ye judicial system itna slow kyu he hamare yaha ... ek case 20 - 20 sal chalta he... ye ayodhya b 68 years se chal hi raha he....
If the court invalidates the case, u all who have written mains r safe. But if the court agrees that the way normalization has been applied is unfair because it has been applied between the sections i.e downscaling of ga marks in all slots, instead of strictly being applied only between slots for difficulty variation, those who have been benefited because of upscaling of reasoning should fear the most.
The problem is u all r ostrish mentality type. Normalization is done on principle of proportionality. Not + or - 5 or 10. So here if normalization is undone, those scoring 60 in ga originally and have lost almost 10 marks will regain 10 marks. N those who have score 50 originally n have lost 8 marks will only regain 8 marks. N u all know 8 is less than 10. Next those who have score 36 in reasoning and after upscaling say 42 marks will lose 6 marks, whereas those who scored 30 marks and got 35 marks in proportion will lose only 5 marks. I am amazed as how u all who should b very smart in maths be so narrow in logic. The ones who r reacting the most are the ones most scared. N about me, I have cleared prelims thrice and have been to interview twice. Right now I am out, missed cutoff by 0.5 marks because of this goof up. If court verdict comes otherwise I have nothing to loose, but if not u all will stand test of justice
RBI will try it's best to complete whole process with minimal hiccups. It may declare results with a note mentioning about court case. These people who have filed case won't stand a chance as they only have those stats pertaining to at most that esoteric group. RBI / IBPS will have the whole data. Count demands crude facts or ground on which case has been filed. It seems petitioners have approached court on flimsy grounds. So they won't be entertained. At most court can direct RBI to look into downscaling process so that future candidates won't feel left out.

@Archi_gradeb Also dont claim you made re-exam for kerala students, RBI is magnanimous it conducted previously also when there was chennai floods. You formed restricted telegram sole purpose was to defame RBI, spread hatred and stall the process. You did more harm to kerala people by raising that questions were repeated. Even though few questions were repeated what is your problem? writing exam itself is great. Do you think they studied for exam where there was no power, no food and water? A big liar.
Spoke with a top level official at RBI. Results are delayed because of some new exam policy (my guess is checking if English paper). The results are expected to come this week itself. He didn’t even know about any court case. So all those petty people who tried to stall the process should just sit back and relax because RBI doesn’t give two shits about all that.
RBI has been asked to furnish the data regarding exam within 30 days. Case hearing date might get prepone.
I think the case is simple-rbi (or ibps) went for equipercentile method w.r.t sections and did normalisation accordingly whereas the petitioners are demanding equipercentile method and subsequently the normalisation to be applied shift wise. The latter one is totally discriminatory as u cannot restrict selections from different shifts based on a premise that shift 1 and shift 2 have equally talented people-which will surely not be the case and even if true is impossible to prove. The former i.e. sectional normalisation is thus done and has been done for almost all the exams of this nature where multiple shifts are there.This may be the first time though that such heavy normalisation has been done-but all rbi needs to prove in court is that they did normalisation and so and so formula was used(they can add that this was used in previous years as well!) and whuff! the case will vanish. I remember in CAT exam also people made some hue and cry about normalisation but finally they had to accept and move on-yahaan bhi aisa hi hoga. But yes because of case delay may be there-but that is about it-anyways they can always manage the interview and joining dates etc. to meet the target date-as an important organisation like RBI cannot afford to run short on manpower. So atb to everyone-and prepare meantime for SEBI .

Dear petitioners,
It’s your right to file a suit if you feel if you have been cheated by esteemed organisation like RBI. However you have done,”A BIG BLUNDER”. See how:
1) RBI though Govt body but being autonomous body is free to do its recruitment by any means, i:e either by publishing open recruitment OR allowing only specific graduates or PG’s or PhD’s etc (Like SEBI was doing earlier) OR simply picking human resource from top B schools (Like RBI was doing earlier).
2) For next year there is huge probability that RBI will curtail generalist recruitment or may bring it down to double digits or even in 20’s 30’s or may not recruit at all and directly goes for campus placements. Thanking you for shattering dreams of millions who wish to part of RBI including me.
3) Other possibility, RBI may allow only Economics Grads/CA/company secretary/Statistics OR MBA’s in specific discipline OR PhD’s OR people already working with other Financial Institution’s as RBI doesn’t find any special in Engineering Grads (I am also an engineer). For this you can’t file any suit as RBI being autonomous having right to decide its criterion its own.
4) You have put career of 2700+people in stake including future aspirants, Outcome for sure will not be in your favour as those who qualified from your shifts be it 1 or 2 also got normalisation in calculation of their marks.
5) Waiting lists of several other recruitment will not move like NABARD/SEBI/other PSU’s as results will be delayed and every recruiting body waits till next notification or next hiring after that it lapses. Thanks for putting me in pain and agony as I am in waitlist of NABARD with just 0.25 marks less cut-off.
6) Your this example will become now role model for the losers and every recruitment will end up in court and at last you will be just left with State or Centre govt exam (Politian’s and corruptions) as every autonomous organisation will change their eligibility to keep idiots away, especially engineers(m too engineer).
Recruitment may get delay but trust me result won’t be in your favour, Or in-fact RBI may itself be wishing court quashing this recruitment and planning to pick manpower from top B-schools which doesn’t involve any cost, In-fact RBI HR deptt may get all sponsorship from these top B-schools for conducting recruitment drive at their campuses.
In worst case even if you win and in future you got any chance to appear in interview, what you think RBI is not having your names, there you will get a big 0 and where you will challenge this as marks awarded in interview can’t be challenged.
Coaching centres are making this weapon to sold their SEBI courses, What a game plan these idiots formulates. Especially that Cr*ck_B (we all know) who never attended any interview is playing with dreams of millions.
Itz better to move on and start preparing for other examz guys.
