Interview went well. Lasted for 25 mins and fortunately I could answer most of the questions, and they looked satisfied with my answers. They started with asking why I switched from IT field to RBI, then some questions on TCS, graduation favourite subject, then asked how NREGA is affecting inflation, APMC Act, LIBOR Scam, RBI guidelines on pre-2005 bank notes, security features introduced post-2005, RBI out-reach programmes, biggest challenges before the indian economy, how can govt. control inflation, ur views on Aam Aadmi Party, Which party do u think can solve inflation problem after coming to power in 2014 lok sabha polls,Why RBI does these programmes, Should RBI tell banks to do it, RBI methods of inspection and supervision, questions about my hometown, some more questions which I am not remembering. At last they asked "Since you are an assistant in RBI which is a regional post, So u will remain in Bhopal for 3-5 years, but If we make u Grade B then u will be transferred, So are you comfortable with the transfers". I answered this question in a best manner I could, and the Chairman said "OK Abhinav We wish you all the best and thank you".
The panel was very supportive.
Note- I am working as assistant in RBI from Dec 2013.
