RBI Grade-B Officer 2015-16 , Phase-I & II

An interesting question - Four circles having equal radii are drawn with centres at the four corners of a square. Each circle touches the other two adjacent circles. If the remaining area of the square is 168 sqcm, what is the size of the radius of the circle?

Can anyone suggest a good.. in fact a better coaching institute in Hyderabad, for RBI Grade-B test?

Dear All,

I am new to this thread and would like to start preparing for this exam.Since I don't have any idea about its exam , kindly suggest me some good books for previous year papers and sample papers for both the phases or any other reference material for that matter.

TIA

I won't post my experience here as It holds no significance to anyone But I would like to share few tips for those who will have their interview in the coming days 1. The board is a cordial one , headed by sardarji(IAS currently on contract basis with RBI) . He is a good guy will help you in case you are unable to explain something . All others are also very cordial and this board is such a board that it will let you decide the path of you're interview that is let's say ki you like economics than they will ask you on that but now the onus will be on that person to actually show them how much interest you have. All in all a good bunch of people to have discussion with and I'm sure most of you wl enjoy it. 2.Interview will mostly start with you're interest or hobby(if you've written) or any other things in you're biodata which might attract the attention of sardarji (I know you guys must have prepared well but still I would say prepare well). 3. Bakki interview will be like any other interview revolving around your work ex or your grad subject or basic economics and finance which is expected. Finally I would say go with a clear mind don't go with any kind of prejudices , whatever is gone is gone , you had given you're best in mains now give you're best out there and hope for the best :-) All the best to all prepare hard and don't waste you're time in PG :P just give it you're all. May the best Men/Women win. PS-this year I like it ki people are not sharing their experiences as it only creates unnecessary confusion in the mind and we tend to forget the real task in hand that is to be ourselves.I believe ki we should prepare with out all these things in our head to give our best out there. So prepare hard and smart. Just go with a clear and positive mindset. All the best :-)

Hi All,

I have bookmarked the following website as a part of my preparations for Grade B examinations:

https://sites.google.com/site/rbidrgradebexampapers/

(I've currently given my interview for the Summer Internship program at RBI, Bangalore RO. Results awaited.)

Can someone go through the site, especially suggested materials for each subject and let me know if they are sufficient. If they're not, kindly suggest more books for the relevant subjects.

Thanks a lot!

Hello guys. Is there anyone who either choose eco as optional or specially had eco as background n haa been interviewed Pls share wat sort of questions yhey ask related to eco n how depth in each area they require us to know Plss please

i think this might help you people to atleast put things in perspective.

the intetview is one hell of a fun process. What i could fathom was that it begins with the catchiest thing in your biodata and then depends on how you take it from there. Like for example, i was asked about powerlifting as the welcome question and then since it attracted them a bit more, discussion revolved around reading habits. I was quite lucky to have books in common with the chairman sir so the process ceased to be anything painful but transformed into an engaging discussion and when i was told thankyou in the end, i was like i want to continue! So dont have any preconcieved notions in your head and be active in thought process. Last but not the least, honesty is the best policy!
