Okay this is my 1st question here.I am 27 male general cat. working in maharatna psu(engg. background).my income is approx. 82k. I have been posted at remote site and will always be transerrable in 3-4 years.I have already completed 4 years of my service. I was never interested in doing preparation for upsc. I recently got acquainted to this exam and in turn this thread, I thought it would be worth a shot as I am sick of the work culture and place. Also now I will be able to get NOC rom my deptt. Are there people who are joining as late as 28? Also,is it worth preparing considering all the factors I have mentioned.
