My brother has 70% in class 10. And he has undergone polytechnic degree(diploma degree) with 69% and 72% in B.tech... is he eligible for rbi grade b?? Pls reply friends..it is very urgent.

I just finished my BTech in chemical engineering. Did not get placed in any company because of poor grades and general lack of interest in my subject.
I am preparing for the SBI PO exams. But I just came to know about the RBI Grade B exams. Checked out the syllabus, went through tons of strategies on quora. But I am still not sure if I could have a decent shot at the exam if I start preparing now, given that I have absolutely no clue about economics/finance.
Is it a realistically achievable goal for a newbie to prepare for the exams in about 3 months and clear it? Also, when is the notification expected this year?
This is my strategy for dynamic general studies -:(for prelims + mains) 1) Daily newspaper THE HINDU with notes making No need to follow multiple newspapers, THE HINDU is enough. It contains good business page covering all important issues . One might follow business standard or Indian express. Any one is enough. It is not important to follow a financial daily untill you are reading THE HINDU. 2) At the end of each month (jan 2016- rbi prelims month) take a magazine which contains gist of all important news of the concerned month. Give a quick reading to see if u have missed something important and add it in newspaper notes copy. Do it at end of every month. For this you can take monthly magazine of IAS BABA or GK TODAY . Both are good . You may take any other too like pratiyogita darpan but take any one only. All have approx same content. My opinion go with GK TODAY monthly magazine. 3) Review of important government policies and schemes in detail. Make an exhaustive notes of it. 4) Follow specifically the economy and banking section of gk today to add in your notes if you find something new. Make key notes of both. 6) Follow a magazine (only one) FRONTLINE or The economist or epw Follow any one and make a habit of reading one article per day. My choice FRONTLINE.( because it can help you in other exams as well) So in conclusion DAILY WORK- The Hindu + 1 article from FRONTLINE Total estimated time - 1.5-2 hours daily WORK AT THE END OF EACH MONTH- Current affairs magazine containing gist of whole month news+ business & economy and banking section of gk today + New schemes and policies launched in previous month Total estimated time at end of each month- 15-20 hours EXTRA TO DO ONCE (before rbi exam )- Economic survey + budget Total estimated time (once only)- 20-25 hours
