i have a question related to quantitative aptitude asked in RBI grade-B exam 2009

To find the second series based on the logic of first series, i.e., second series uses the same logic as first series :

series I : 5   9   25   91   414    2282.5

series II : 3   a   b   c   d   e 

Here the first number is given as 3 the rest is to be found.

please share the methodology to solve it.
