i had got interviewed on 30th november in kolkata, am chemical...
they asked all about my previous employment, theough iam in visakhapatnam since childhood and as well as doing job in visakhapatnam, they tried to ask me questinos like you are home sick, how can you do job outside visakhapatnam eventhough you are not aware of anyother city till now. i tried to convince them..
they asked me one question like "which law of thermodynamics relates your satyam computer scam?" i was really shockd with that question eventhough i said the right answer.. next all about technical interview favourite subject...
next was the GD and it was much easier and enjoyable..
all the best for other people who are yet to be interviewed.

GD-based on corruption
Our team could reach consensus in 2 out of d 3 rounds, the PI was a blend of both technical and non technical. Interview went on for about 30 minutes.
overall it had gone well but a sail official confirmed dat weightage on written is 60%. So lets keep the finhers crossed

we will have to wait for 1 and half months for the result to be declared ..... and as the days will pass we would be facing the problem of impatience,,, so why not forget these and lets prepare for next exams... (gate ,ies etc)...what do u say...????

common topics: 30 marks out of 100 for mathematics, aptitude,reasoning, english in GATE
200 marks in IES for general studies...

Hardly 70 days to GATE.
if we hav a proper planning we wil definitely get a good score.
My branch is Electrical.
My plan is to prepare a few subjects like Controls, Networks, Power Electronics, Machines, Measurements and finally Mathematics, Reasoning & Aptitude.
I left Power System why bcoz its a OCEAN to swim.
