Dear esteem
I got the result the same day i was interviewed. It was interviewed by Lindsay and she said it will take 2 weeks of time for final decision.

So i would suggest that you wait for at least a week and then ask the adcom for status. Good luck!!

I have talked to couple of alumni /current students. The feedback was very much encouraging. Placement for the current batch is not as good as that for the last batch but that's for any B school in the view of economic crisis. Faculty and facilities are very good as they told.

May be i am late in replying to your mail:(

The questions asked to me were :

1. Why MBA and Why Sauder and how this will help you attain post MBA career objective

2. How will you contribute to the class?


3. What should i tell the adcom that distinguishes you from the res (time 60 sec)?

4. Some questions on your leadership skills and team work

Be ready to face some new questions .... the interviewer is very cooperative and he/she tries to understand you in 25-30 min ...All the best!!

Ehh maaan...a lil late. I gave the interview already, some hours back. The questions were the same, incidently 😃 The third question was a little different, in that she asked me to convince the decision committe in 1 min why they should take me in. Thanks neway. Hope it helps others yet to give interview as well.

Can't really compare because I dont know the market of Hong Kong, but Sauder sure has a much better program, and a much better ranking.

This decision is not so easy and perhaps you could talk to alumni of University of Hongkong to know more about the school and its culture.

Joining a school is very personal decision and only you can know whether a school meets your expectation of MBA program ....

Sauder is good for Finance and i am planning to do specialisation in Finance + Strategy so i fits into my requirement. Possibly i can provide some input when i know what you expect out of program:)

Hi,
I have also secured a admit from Sauder for fall 2009.
I also have an admit from JMSB (Univ of Concordia) Montreal and I am waiting for McGill(Montreal).
I am confused between Montreal and Vancouver as in which city provides for better job markets. I know that Montreal is cheaper and 2nd largest in Canada but Sauder has a higher ranking across the board. Does Vancouver provide good jobs?
Also any idea about Sauder's recognition back home in India?
